So far so good! My friends can hear me and I can heard them perfectly and best of all no more cords on the floor for the family to trip over and pull the unit off the table or head phones off my head. Also like that they can charge into the controller so there is still no cord of the floor.

I've been searching for a pair of headphones for my ps4 for over a month and these work great. I love the fact I'm able to load specific game profiles to the headset for particular games too. It's a must buy if you own a ps4.

For the price of this headset compared to similar products it is a fantastic buy. I can wear these for hours comfortably and the battery charge lasts many hours as well. I would buy these again.

My Sony Pulse Elite finally broke, and found out they are off the market, so these are what supposed to replace them. Except for being able to fold them for easy portibility, these are not even close, but these are the best Playstation offers since ps4 has a plug in the handset for any headphones. So at this point this is the best Playstation has for gaming.

I wanted a headset that would give me surround sound, the big bass of in game explosions all without waking my neighbors. The Gold headset does that plus it's light, stylish and easy to use.

Not only do these headsets look and feel great, they work great also. A huge plus is that they work wirelessly through the ps4 but with a cord you can also use them on the xbox1.

I returned this twice due to sound dropping issues, connection between the dongle and the headset would drop constantly. When Sony told me to send my console in for a $99 service charge to fix the headset issue I decided to purchase a different company's headset. I had the same issue and continued to search online and troubleshoot. It was finally discovered that my wifi router was causing the problem. So, I can't rate this correctly and gave it a 3 star rating. However, to fix the issue with the different headset I turned off the headset, PS4, and router. Then turned on the PS4, headset, then let it sit connected offline for a little while then turn on the router again. This basically old my router to stop using up that part of the bandwidth. I hope if someone else has the same problem they can get this to work with the Sony headset as they seemed like they would have been great except for this.

I got this headset on black Friday. Tried it on multiple devices and it worked great. Only down fall is that it is a little tight. The sound quality is great. Easy to use.

Overall I think the headphones are decent, however I would've really liked if it had a heavier bass. The voices in chat party sound clear. They are simple to use and comfortable to wear for a few hours. I mainly use them at night, so I can play without having to worry about the loud tv volume when it's quiet since the output is set headphones only.

I bought this on Black Friday 2015, so I've had time to figure out how I feel about this particular headset. Pros: Great sound quality. Use with the Headset Companion App will enhance your sound while playing. 3.5mm audio jack allows this to be much more flexible than comparable wireless gaming headsets. Cons: Atrocious microphone quality. Terrible balancing options between 'chat' and 'game' audio. Intermittent sync issues. My primary headset at time of purchase was the PlayStation Wireless Stereo Headset (later rebranded to be the non-Elite "Pulse" headset), and since it was also Sony branded I'll be mostly comparing this Gold headset to it. This seems more like two steps forward, three steps back. The design is much simpler and convenient. Folding for storage and the 3.5mm jack are great additions. It's more comfortable than I thought, and the audio quality is great. But it has some serious flaws. If you are looking for a headset to talk to people, move on. My friends kept saying I sound terrible and one mentioned it was like bad PS3 quality. Going through some saved Share videos I was shocked at just how bad the microphone quality was. It's pretty bad when the PS4's stock microphone offers better clarity. There is also the issue of how the headset balances 'game' and 'chat'. On the Wireless Stereo Headset you push the slider toward chat and it simply lowers the volume of game sounds and vice-versa; overall volume level doesn't go up. On this headset, it was decided for some asinine reason that if you wanted to prioritize chat, that the game volume is turned down while chat volume is turned UP. This makes balancing volume extremely frustrating, especially when combined with the PS4's own separate Party chat prioritization settings. Final verdict: I can only recommend this as a good wireless pair of 7.1 VSS headphones, not as a headset to converse with others. The sound quality is the selling point, but for the 'best' PS-branded headset I am disappointed. My old headset was of much better quality, ergonomics, and more user-friendly with audio adjustments.

I have a lot of headphones, both wireless and wired. These offer great sound quality and comfort for the money. The virtual sound, however, is best left off in my opinion.

Good sound works great on a playstation 4 easy to use and setup

great headset this was my second headset the first one was an off brand very hard to use this headset for the ps4 is awesome with one USB plug easy to use, great Mic I would definitely suggest this for anybody looking to quiet the room and enjoy their games with full volume and clearity.

Awesome pair of headphones! I used the ear bud ones before but with these you get a full surround sound effect and they are super comfortable to wear!!

Had a wired set up before and this wireless set up is waaay better!
