Great addition to a family room

Very Nice Sound

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This product sounds very good as a stand alone unit with my Sony A80K 65" OLED TV, but I believe it would benifit greatly with the addition of a sub woofer. The installation tech suggested we may be happy with the low end sound from just the sound bar, but we're not. The other issue, and it is significant in our case, is that there is no connection port for a wired sub woofer, which is all we have.

No sub needed

Vocal tones are crisp and clear, bass tones cut through appropriately, and functionality outside of tv use is nothing short of incredible. Down the road I may look at getting a sub but at this point i see no necessity for one. Great soundbar.

Amazing display of Atmos

It sounds like there speakers surrounding the entire room. Sounds bounce off the ceiling and items zip by your ear, it truly is remarkable. It’s a small room, not sure how this would sound with higher ceilings, but for my purposes, the entire set sounds fantastic. Atmos is such a cool technology, I look forward to seeing it get utilized more in the future.

Sound Bar

I could have gone cheaper … but the sound was just average. I could have gone more expensive, but the difference just did not up the game enough to justify the additional dollars. I have an amazing system for watching movies and sports!!!!

Great soundbar could be used solo

With the sound field mode on the sound seems fill the room more robustly. With the sound field off it sound more flat but why would anyone turn if off when it sounds so amazing with it on.

Decent sound-bar

Cons: Mids are not good, need to crank up the volume much higher to get clear voices when watching movies. Overall it gives a better home theater experience to someone who had been using basic 5-6 years old sound-bar system but nowhere close to traditional 2.1 or 3.1 HT system.
