Great sound but has one flaw

The audio quality is what you get so if it is not the exact sound quality you want you are stuck, since there is no settings to tweak. Great for small and medium spaces.

The complete soundbar, imo.

This sony soundbar stands out as a clear winner for me cause it has the lows, mids, and highs all in 1 package. I don't even find need for a sub woofer. I only added rears for that complete surround sound.

Best sound on the market in this price range. Don't get swayed by surround/ sub packages that don't use quality speakers in order to keep the price low.

Awesome Sound for being the Little Brother

We aren't looking to shake the house with theater sound (I'm confident this soundbar can do that). Sound when using the TV as a SCenter Channel brings a really good 3-D Dolby sound without the use of rear speakers, and the bass is more than adequate without a sub. If you want to rattle the china in the kitchen, you may want the HT-A7000, or this unit with a subwoofer. If not, this soundbar delivers more sound, with rich mass and side firing mid-ranges that immerse you in the show as Sony claims.

I thought I was actually inside of a movie theatre where I would have to pay to be there ! I would recommend this sound bar to any one who really wants to feel surround sound like it was meant to be. I found that I didn’t even necessarily need a subwoofer though adding a subwoofer of course will add to the sound experience.

It's just OK.

It works, it does what it's supposed to do, but it doesn't "Wow" me. I'm not sure it was worth the price, but it wasn't awful enough for me to take it back.
