This thing has allowed me to enjoy football games, and movies better than I was currently doing. This is not the experience we want you to have. Kindly allow us to assist you. We highly suggest not to place any metal objects other than a TV around the speaker system to avoid interference. You can also try and perform a software update making sure that the unit has the latest firmware version. Please follow the link below for the software update process.

We have this one connected to a Samsung tv and the bigger one connected to a Sony tv and you can definitedly tell the difference. If your looking for something with nice sound for bedroom or living this is it givem its connected to proper tv.

A nice compact system that has better sound quality than my 25 year old bulky receiver system. Get the extra sub and wireless rear speakers too.

I was disappointed at first,, but after a couple of weeks the sound widened and became much richer. Also using the screen as the center channel really does make the dialogue feel like it's coming from the person speaking. It does however, need a separate subwoofer. The base is better than most soundbars, but cannot replace the immersive feeling you get with a subwoofer. I took off one star for the need for a subwoofer that isn't included and one for the fact that I have a wireless subwoofer that came with another Sony soundbar and it won't connect. You have to buy one of two specific models (the cheapest being $400). All Sony wireless subwoofers should work with it.

We aren't looking to shake the house with theater sound (I'm confident this soundbar can do that). Sound when using the TV as a SCenter Channel brings a really good 3-D Dolby sound without the use of rear speakers, and the bass is more than adequate without a sub. If you want to rattle the china in the kitchen, you may want the HT-A7000, or this unit with a subwoofer. If not, this soundbar delivers more sound, with rich mass and side firing mid-ranges that immerse you in the show as Sony claims.
