It has 2 upfiring speakers for the Dolby Atmos effect. I recommend purchasing a subwoofer and rears for the best experience.

If you don't, have to use by pass hook up set up to get Atmos sound from source players.

The treble on this is too high and there isn't a lot of options to change it. I have it paired with the Sony RS3S rear speakers along with the Sony SW5 Subwoof. I've tried everything in the book to get it to sound right, and i could just never get it to my liking. Pricewise it is definitely not worth it for me, especially with the options that you are given. I plan to replace it with the Sony A7000, and i hope that it's a whole lot better.

Sony is a Disappointment

No help from Sony but luckily I've been a Best Buy Total Tech Protection customer for a few years. I had to take the unit to my local BB store where they've sent the unit to their regional repair facility. I was informed that parts were on Backorder with an eta two weeks out. This is all on Sony. I bought this soundbar along with a Bravia XR 75" TV. Best Buy people sold Sony hard but coming from Samsung I'm highly disappointed in Sony.
