One of the main selling points for the edge was the ability to replace the joystick. That is all to say that you cannot buy the joystick replacements at any official retailer other than Sony. Take a wild guess about which item is always out of stock? Paddles are ok and the button mapping is simple enough. Get a warranty or go third party.

Very good controller for the price and you get back paddles and you could bind it. Overall I would 100% recommend this

Not a significant update compared to the regular dualsense. If you don't play online competitive games it's definitely not worth the difference in price.

I love how the design made it feels as if you were holding a pro controller and how simple it was to have multiple gaming profiles.A slight problem that comes accross is that for the price there is only 2 back paddles which isnt as helpful as having 4.Also the trigger stops still go down a decent amount regardless of the setting.For a casual I couldn’t recommend this unless on sale but for a serious mainly fps shooter this is an awesome controller for you.

I returned the controller after two days. Normally I use an Xbox Elite controller for PC gaming, but thought I’d try the PS5 equivalent since it was on sale. I had a lot of complaints, but mostly 2 major issues. One was Bluetooth interference. I use Bluetooth to connect my wireless headset. This controller also connects via Bluetooth. When you turn the controller on the headset audio oscillates between normal audio and no audio about every 3 seconds. Every Bluetooth headset and earbuds I own were affected this way. I’ve never experienced Bluetooth interference like this before with any devices. I even bought another Bluetooth adapter thinking maybe the one I had was too cheap or old but the exact same things happened with the new one. Second biggest problem was the controller wants to go to sleep if you let it sit for about 60 seconds without input. So if you’re playing a game and maybe hiding in a bush for a bit while you’re healing or waiting for a group of enemies to pass, the controller goes to sleep and you have to wake it back up and wait for it to connect before you can move again. I also play Roblox with my kids on PC sometimes and this controller does not work at all with Roblox without downloading weird software and mapping the controller.

The battery, fully charged, is lasting around 7 hours. The controller that came with the console lasts so much longer. I like everything else, but for the price, i would not buy the edge again.
