The paddles on the back of the controller are not well placed for me. However the half domed paddles worked the best. It is a well made controller…just not well designed.

Great microwave

It is different having a non turntable microwave but i havent noticed a big difference in cooking time. It doesnt look like ut but it fits large plates and is not as loud as other microwaves. Very pleased with this purchase

That is all to say that you cannot buy the joystick replacements at any official retailer other than Sony. Take a wild guess about which item is always out of stock? Paddles are ok and the button mapping is simple enough. Get a warranty or go third party.
