I like the ease of use Sony DualSense controller. The adaptive triggers and haptic feedback make every game feel more immersive and responsive.

The build quality is solid, although not quite as premium as xbox’s series elite 2 controllers, but still a very nice upgrade in feel and feature set with adjustable triggers, rubber grips on the handles and removable joysticks. It is a great controller. I did remove a star however because the battery life is only about 7 hours from a full charge. So even if you have short gaming sessions, you will need to charge pretty often

This controller is a bit overpriced compared to other controllers out on the market. Back buttons and profiles are common with third party controllers. It may be one of the best you can get on a PlayStation 5, but it’s merely average on PC. The 1000hz polling on PC is good, but locked to 250hz on console. And the potentiometer sticks are prone to stick drift. Good on Sony to allow the stick module to be easily replaced, but the better option would’ve been to have Hall effect or TMR sticks in the first place. Premium products should have premium features. If you’re on PS5, Sony has made the license from 3rd parties to high that anything better than this is more expensive. So if you want a better controller than the regular dualsense. This is it for the cheapest price possible. If you’re on PC, there are much better options that are far cheaper.

    A Game-Changer for FPS Players

I’m really impressed with the PlayStation DualSense Edge. The build quality feels premium and durable, and the controller is super comfortable for long sessions. For FPS games, the back buttons/paddles and trigger adjustments are a game-changer—quick weapon swaps, better movement, and more consistent aim. If you play competitive shooters, it’s absolutely worth it.

Okay, to be honest, it's a ripoff, but it's kind of cool looking. I only like it because of the black color. Only buy it if you have more money than you know what to do with. You absolutely do not need it. It'd be smarter if you use the same money to buy a couple games and snacks instead and you probably have some money left over.

I absolutely love my black PS5 DualSense controller. Right out of the box, it just looks amazing—the matte black finish gives it a clean, stealthy vibe that makes the whole gaming setup feel more polished. It’s definitely my favorite color option for the DualSense. Beyond looks, the performance is top-tier. The adaptive triggers and haptic feedback make every game feel more immersive—whether it’s the tension of drawing a bow or the subtle rumbles during a racing game, it adds a whole new level to gameplay. The buttons are responsive, the analog sticks are smooth, and the grip feels natural during long sessions. Battery life has been solid, and I haven’t experienced any drift or connectivity issues. It just works—and it works really well. If you’re thinking about grabbing an extra controller or just want something with a sleek, premium look, the black DualSense is 100% worth it. It’s stylish, comfortable, and enhances the overall PS5 experience.
