Old school gamer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good value, has extra features that give quality of life in gaming with the back buttons. Battery life not that great (5to6 hours at best) but extra long charging cable that’s provided keeps you going. Still great controller would recommend.

Premium Feel and Full Control
|Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The black DualSense Edge controller feels like a true premium upgrade. The build quality is excellent, it’s comfortable to hold, and the customizable controls make a noticeable difference in gameplay. Being able to swap stick modules, adjust trigger stops, and map back buttons adds a lot of flexibility for different games. It still delivers everything great about the standard DualSense—immersive haptics and adaptive triggers—while giving you more precision and control. If you’re serious about gaming and want a high-end controller that performs as good as it looks, this one is absolutely worth it.

Better than original controllers
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As playing PS5 is one of my main media hobbies, this control works great. Was hesitant to buy based on price but I really enjoy the paddles. I mainly play DayZ and mapping L1 and R1 to the paddles makes control so much easier. Being able to adjust stick sensitivity is nice too but takes some play to figure out what you like. It’d be difficult to go back. Might be some but the braided long USB cord and case that it came with are actually very nice.

Now in Midnight color!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the white color Edge controller for about a year now and it has been very useful for some of the games I play. Particularly the button mapping mixed with the back triggers is what really helps during gaming sessions. I have no comment about the battery since I played wired, but I do know that battery life is not great. For my white controller, I have not needed to replace the joy sticks just yet which means the original sticks are relatively durable. Even though I basically already have this controller, a new color is welcomed in my book. This controller is worth it to those that play competitively. I don't think it's worth the price tag for those that do not.

Next, Level Control and Precision, Worth Every Mom
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you’re serious about gaming, the Sony DualSense Edge Wireless Controller is one of the best premium controllers you can get. From the moment you pick it up, you notice the solid build quality, comfortable Midnight Black finish, and thoughtful design, which makes long sessions feel natural and intuitive. According to users, the ergonomics and button feel are superb, and it stands out compared to standard controllers. What really sets this controller apart is the depth of customization, you can remap buttons, adjust stick sensitivity, tweak trigger dead zones, and save multiple profiles so your setup is perfect for any game or playstyle. That kind of control makes gameplay feel more responsive and personalized, whether you’re in intense shooters or immersive single, player adventures. The built, in back paddles and swappable stick modules add a pro, level edge, and players on multiple platforms love that their custom profiles carry over between PS5 and PC. Of course, no product is perfect, battery life isn’t the strongest and that it’s a bit pricier than a standard controller. But for most gamers like myself looking to elevate their experience, the added features, comfort, and control make it absolutely worth the investment.

Huge game changer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently bought the new black DS Edge. Lol I got tired of struggling with the regular DS button placements when I play COD, so the Edge was perfect for me. The only thing I’m not too fond of is the battery life. Thank God the cord it comes with is long enough to maneuver. Best controller ever.

Not the best value, but get it if you need it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beware that the battery life is intentionally lower than your regular DualSense (Sony intends for you to use the Edge with a wired connection for reduced latency). The paddles are slightly "mushy" compared to the tactile feedback of the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller. The ability to change the thumbsticks for only $25 and the quality of the travel case make up plenty for the battery "issue". At the time of writing this, the Xbox Elite Series 2 is about $50 cheaper than the DualSense Edge, so that is a much better deal. If you are someone that cannot stand the offset sticks of the Xbox controller line, then get this one!

Awesome controller!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to setup profiles for different games based on your playing style. Love the compensation for stick drift and sensitivity. The trigger sensitivity setting is awesome! You don’t have to pull/press the triggers all the way to register an action, you can also set the distance the triggers travel to fire weapons faster. The paddles kinda work for me, takes a bit to get use to them, mainly for multi tasking within the game. Battery life could’ve been better. A regular PS5 controller lasts twice as long. I turned off vibration and dimmed the leds and still only lasts half of a regular controller. Shifting profiles based on what game you’re playing is fast! You can do it mid game and in 1-2 seconds, you can switch the controller setup entirely. Make multiple profiles for one game if you want based on how you want to play at that moment, what ever you want! Leave it plugged in as I do and the battery life isn’t an issue anymore. Easy replacement of thumb sticks too if you ever need it. A quick adjustment of the Deadzone will eliminate stick drift. Watch tutorials before making adjustments to understand what you’re adjusting and why.

||Posted . Good quality controller bad battery life
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a good quality controller feels good in your hands. You can customize it how you want to play so there’s no limitations on that part for the competitive edge. Only issue is the battery life. Dies too fast you might as well keep the controller plugged in for the most part. Other than that solid controller.
