Very nice controller! I picked it up when it was on a open box sale and the item was like new! BestBuy really took care of it and made sure all the parts and pieces were there and aside from the box being a bit scuffed and dented, the controller and other items itself looked flawless. The controller itself is amazing. The added weight from the parts feels nice in the hand, not too heavy, but heavy enough to give it a bit more presence. The customizable thumbsticks and back bumpers are awesome. And the adjustable stops on the back triggers is game changing. Literally. The triggers actuate earlier which means my fingers and the triggers need to travel less distance in order to be used. That change is huge in fast paced shooters or fighting games where split seconds change the outcome. Lastly, being able to fully swap out the potentiometer easily if any drift arrives is one of the major reasons I wanted this controller. Being able to swap that part out instead of throwing away and buying a whole new controller is already worth the price. The software to be able to customize the back bumpers and remap all of the buttons is huge as well. Allowing for more controller overriding the controllers of games and even allowing more customization in some games that don't offer button remapping. Additionally, its a huge win for the accessibility community where you can make different buttons do different things base on your range of motion and how you need the controller to function. Overall, its an amazing controller and I definitely think its worth the price at full price. It was even more worth it on open box sale!

I recently tried the Sony Elite Controller, and it truly impressed me. The build quality is excellent, with a sturdy yet comfortable feel in the hands. The buttons and triggers respond smoothly, and the overall grip is ergonomic, making long gaming sessions enjoyable. Every detail feels premium, and the weight distribution adds to the sense of control. If you’re looking for a reliable and high-quality controller, this one is a top choice.

Everything about this controller feels good. It has a good weight to it whixh feels comfortable in the hand. The back buttons are custom and can be swapped out for personal preference. I enjoy having the different preset button layouts for different games like shooters, sports, then other random games I own. If for some reason you get stick drfit, you can fix it by buying new analog sticks that come in and out. Battery is little lower than normal PS5 controllers but still good for a long gaming session. Charges fast for me. Id recommend this controller for a serious gamer or someone who wants a controller to last.

This is a great controller. I like that it has back buttons, also comes with extra accessories to fit your style. You get to set it up with specific buttons and even have multiple layouts depending on the game youre playing. Overall great purchase and would buy it again if i need another one.

I recently bought the new black DS Edge. Lol I got tired of struggling with the regular DS button placements when I play COD, so the Edge was perfect for me. The only thing I’m not too fond of is the battery life. Thank God the cord it comes with is long enough to maneuver. Best controller ever.

Absolutely the best controller I have ever had for any console ever. This is the controller to use daily. Only downside is that the battery goes faster than the OG controller but they provide a “lock” to attach the USB-C cable to the controller. The case provided is great! Using the additional triggers to map what you may want is a game changer. The grip on the controller helps with any sweaty palms during gameplay. The ridges on the triggers are a real nice touch. Changing out the thumbsticks is easy and way better than using the caps. The midnight black really makes the controller look even better. Recommend hands down!

Sat on this for like 6 months bedore I finally decided to buy it. Haven’t looked back since. Theres a nice bit of extra weight that makes the controller feel much more sturdy and theres mich less give in the plastic body. It could just be age showing in my original controller but the adaptive triggers do feel noticeably stronger and the unpleasnt clicking in certian games is much quieter. Carrying case is well built and the back buttons are solid and clicky. Plenty of customization options and profiles are saved directly to the device so if you pair it with a PC, the quick profile switching, button assignments and settings carry over seamlessly. Only complaint is the fact that the d-pad isnt four individual buttons and still sports the rocker setup which can cause issues when entering combos quickly. That and the battery doesnt last as long as the OG but it comes with a almost sarcastically long and high quality braided USB-A to USB-C cable thatll reach across a room easily. The black seems like its gonna hold up much better cosmetically than the white.

The PlayStation DualSense Edge is an absolute must-have for any serious gamer. From the moment you pick it up, the fit in your hands and the balanced weight feel premium and perfectly tuned for long sessions. What really elevates the experience—especially in FPS games like Black Ops 6 and Warzone—are the two back paddles. They make quick movements, jumping, and weapon swapping feel way more natural and responsive. Another huge plus is the swappable thumbsticks. They’re a small touch with a big impact, especially when it comes to personalizing your control layout or just prepping for long-term durability. Pro tip: if you spot those replacement thumbsticks in stock, grab a couple—supply can be spotty and it’s always good to be prepared. That said, there are a couple of drawbacks. I really wish there was an option to add two more buttons or paddles—just having two feels a little limited compared to some other pro controllers out there. And it’s kind of wild that Sony doesn’t offer TMR (tension-adjustable, magnetic, or reinforced) thumbsticks yet—unless you want to gamble with eBay. Now about the Geek Squad protection at Best Buy… it’s a bit of a mixed bag. It’s an extra $60, which is fine if you don’t already have backup thumbsticks. I had some drift issues, brought mine in under a year into ownership, and they swapped it out no problem—but then canceled the protection plan unless I bought it again for the new controller. That’s the part that really rubbed me the wrong way. I was still under Sony’s manufacturer warranty, so why reset my paid coverage? The guy just said, “That’s how we do it.” Well… your way sucks. It should carry over and only kick back in after the Sony warranty ends, like most other protection plans I’ve had. Still, even with that hiccup, I’d recommend the DualSense Edge without hesitation. It’s a beast of a controller that makes a noticeable difference in competitive play—just go in with eyes open if you're thinking about extra protection plans.

The DualSense Edge feels amazing in the hands and adds a ton of customization options with back buttons, swappable stick caps, and trigger stops. It’s perfect for competitive play and comes with a great carrying case. The only downside is the shorter battery life compared to the regular DualSense. Still, it’s a solid choice if you’re serious about your games.

Buying through Bestbuy is always fast and efficient and also quick to ship to my door ,now the controller Build quality excellent. There's some weight to it every aspect of the controller is excellent, even when installing the paddles. They're magnetic, quicker, easy to take on and off at will, Now the exception, this is the battery life of the edge even with the settings on low there is significant battery drain.Also, the light doesn't automatically illuminate on every game and the reasoning for that is that developers have to the program specifically for the edge controller. And there are many games that i have not implemented about programming. Other than those issues my purchase was exceptional.

While expensive, the Dualsense Edge controller is worth the purchase. It really improved on the previous design of the Playstation 5 controller. One issue I really had with the original controller is that the movement stick would constantly drift to the left. It eventually got so bad I had to buy a whole new controller. Once again, the controller i just bought got stick drift. So, instead of staying in that endless cycle of buying new controllers, I broke through it and decided I wanted something else. Not only did the Dualsense Edge controller fix my main issue with the other controllers, it let me customize which buttons did what on my controller, which enhanced my enjoyment of games overall. It is a high quality product, and generally pretty easy to use. If you cant get the hang of how to customize anything or replace anything, the controller comes with a manual inside of the hard case :-)

One of the best purchases I've ever made the controller is a game changer it offers you comfort for long playtime hours although the battery can use more length and ability to play longer before another charge but you can always connect it with the supplied cable the biggest plus is the sticks how you can change the caps based on your gaming preferences and you can totaly scrap it and put on a new one when module and your good to go

I always wanted this controller, luckily I was able to get it on sale during the Christmas holidays. I love the black color. The function is top notch also the ability to replace the sticks when they ever go bad is a plus. I would definitely recommend it.

I play a lot of FPS games- mainly cod and apex and was looking for a more premium controller, as well as an alternative to getting a scuf. It definitely has a great feel, love the customization and overall look to it. The addition of the paddles in the back feel great and definitely is a game changer. There is one thing that makes me mad though and thats the battery life. Sometimes it dies just sitting there on my desk without even using it. If it had better battery life- like even just the standard dualsense controller it would be an almost perfect controller.

They knocked it out of the park with this controller. It feels premium in the hand. The inter-swappable thumb sticks and back paddles are very high quality. So is the carrying case with a cable port for charging your controller while inside. The cable has a lock mechanism and is long. The only gripes I have are the battery life, which is slightly worse than a standard DualSense and the plastic faceplate over the bottom half of the controller where the joysticks are. It feels easy to scratch. The same plastic as the body of the ps5. I wish it were matte or a different material.

Been loving this controller. The added heft alone feels great and aids gameplay for me, feels like I'm holding a quality product. The programmable nature of it is wonderful, especially setting up various profiles for different types of games, and all the accessories and accoutrements it comes with are very useful, including the high quality case (which you can even charge the controller from!). The battery life unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired, but otherwise it's excellent, especially if you can catch it on sale
