Excellent controller
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller looks and feels premium. It works great and has a ton of features to imporove any fps experience along with making single player games easier to play with the extra buttons available. Battey lasts about the same as stock ps5 controller but it makes up for this woth functionality. All in all its a great buy. No regrets whatsoever.

Not really worth it…
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not really impressed with the controller. Mapping is great but you can map with the regular controller. The additional buttons were a good thought at a “short cut “ but you will need to get use to them. I found battery life to be a tad shorter than the original controller. Is it worth the money…? No…! Replaceable sticks still don’t eliminate stick drift. Not experiencing it yet but I heard it’s still a problem. It spends more time in the case next to my PS5 now then using it.

Ultimate Pro Controller for PlayStation Gamers
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PlayStation DualSense Edge is an absolute must-have for any serious gamer. From the moment you pick it up, the fit in your hands and the balanced weight feel premium and perfectly tuned for long sessions. What really elevates the experience—especially in FPS games like Black Ops 6 and Warzone—are the two back paddles. They make quick movements, jumping, and weapon swapping feel way more natural and responsive. Another huge plus is the swappable thumbsticks. They’re a small touch with a big impact, especially when it comes to personalizing your control layout or just prepping for long-term durability. Pro tip: if you spot those replacement thumbsticks in stock, grab a couple—supply can be spotty and it’s always good to be prepared. That said, there are a couple of drawbacks. I really wish there was an option to add two more buttons or paddles—just having two feels a little limited compared to some other pro controllers out there. And it’s kind of wild that Sony doesn’t offer TMR (tension-adjustable, magnetic, or reinforced) thumbsticks yet—unless you want to gamble with eBay. Now about the Geek Squad protection at Best Buy… it’s a bit of a mixed bag. It’s an extra $60, which is fine if you don’t already have backup thumbsticks. I had some drift issues, brought mine in under a year into ownership, and they swapped it out no problem—but then canceled the protection plan unless I bought it again for the new controller. That’s the part that really rubbed me the wrong way. I was still under Sony’s manufacturer warranty, so why reset my paid coverage? The guy just said, “That’s how we do it.” Well… your way sucks. It should carry over and only kick back in after the Sony warranty ends, like most other protection plans I’ve had. Still, even with that hiccup, I’d recommend the DualSense Edge without hesitation. It’s a beast of a controller that makes a noticeable difference in competitive play—just go in with eyes open if you're thinking about extra protection plans.

100% Worth it
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sat on this for like 6 months bedore I finally decided to buy it. Haven’t looked back since. Theres a nice bit of extra weight that makes the controller feel much more sturdy and theres mich less give in the plastic body. It could just be age showing in my original controller but the adaptive triggers do feel noticeably stronger and the unpleasnt clicking in certian games is much quieter. Carrying case is well built and the back buttons are solid and clicky. Plenty of customization options and profiles are saved directly to the device so if you pair it with a PC, the quick profile switching, button assignments and settings carry over seamlessly. Only complaint is the fact that the d-pad isnt four individual buttons and still sports the rocker setup which can cause issues when entering combos quickly. That and the battery doesnt last as long as the OG but it comes with a almost sarcastically long and high quality braided USB-A to USB-C cable thatll reach across a room easily. The black seems like its gonna hold up much better cosmetically than the white.

Premium Feel, Pro Features — Battery could be bett
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The DualSense Edge feels amazing in the hands and adds a ton of customization options with back buttons, swappable stick caps, and trigger stops. It’s perfect for competitive play and comes with a great carrying case. The only downside is the shorter battery life compared to the regular DualSense. Still, it’s a solid choice if you’re serious about your games.

Best Pro Controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am writing to express my sincere gratitude and provide a glowing recommendation for the PlayStation Pro Controller. As an avid gamer, I have experienced numerous controllers over the years, but I must commend your team for crafting a device that has truly set a new standard for performance in my gaming experience. I am absolutely thrilled with its quality and functionality, and it has genuinely become an indispensable part of my setup. From the moment I started using it, the precision and responsiveness were immediately apparent. The tactile feedback is superb, and every button press feels deliberate and accurate, which is crucial in competitive titles. What truly sets it apart, however, are the advanced features – the customizable back paddles have become indispensable, allowing for lightning-fast inputs without sacrificing grip. The ability to adjust stick tension and trigger stops has allowed me to fine-tune the controller to my exact preferences across various game genres, resulting in a noticeable improvement in my gameplay and overall enjoyment. The build quality also feels exceptionally robust and comfortable for extended sessions. This controller hasn't just met my expectations; it has consistently exceeded them, proving to be a robust and reliable piece of hardware. It has genuinely elevated my gaming sessions, making them more immersive, competitive, and frankly, more fun. For any serious gamer looking to gain an edge or simply enhance their overall experience, I cannot recommend the PlayStation Pro Controller highly enough. It's a testament to the quality and innovation PlayStation continues to bring to the gaming world. Thank you for developing such an exceptional piece of hardware. I genuinely appreciate the thought and engineering that has clearly gone into creating a controller of this caliber. I look forward to seeing the continued excellence from PlayStation.

A bit expensive, but overall an amazing product!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While expensive, the Dualsense Edge controller is worth the purchase. It really improved on the previous design of the Playstation 5 controller. One issue I really had with the original controller is that the movement stick would constantly drift to the left. It eventually got so bad I had to buy a whole new controller. Once again, the controller i just bought got stick drift. So, instead of staying in that endless cycle of buying new controllers, I broke through it and decided I wanted something else. Not only did the Dualsense Edge controller fix my main issue with the other controllers, it let me customize which buttons did what on my controller, which enhanced my enjoyment of games overall. It is a high quality product, and generally pretty easy to use. If you cant get the hang of how to customize anything or replace anything, the controller comes with a manual inside of the hard case :-)

Dualsense edge just a few issues
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Buying through Bestbuy is always fast and efficient and also quick to ship to my door ,now the controller Build quality excellent. There's some weight to it every aspect of the controller is excellent, even when installing the paddles. They're magnetic, quicker, easy to take on and off at will, Now the exception, this is the battery life of the edge even with the settings on low there is significant battery drain. Also, the light doesn't automatically illuminate on every game and the reasoning for that is that developers have to the program specifically for the edge controller. And there are many games that i have not implemented about programming. Other than those issues my purchase was exceptional.

Almost Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I play a lot of FPS games- mainly cod and apex and was looking for a more premium controller, as well as an alternative to getting a scuf. It definitely has a great feel, love the customization and overall look to it. The addition of the paddles in the back feel great and definitely is a game changer. There is one thing that makes me mad though and thats the battery life. Sometimes it dies just sitting there on my desk without even using it. If it had better battery life- like even just the standard dualsense controller it would be an almost perfect controller.

Dual Sense Edge
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The DualSense Edge is hands-down one of the best controllers for competitive Call of Duty Ranked Play. The biggest advantage is the back paddles, which let you jump, slide, and reload without taking your thumbs off the sticks—huge for winning close gunfights and keeping movement clean. The stick modules feel smooth and precise, and being able to adjust deadzones, trigger stops, and button mapping makes the controller feel tailored to your exact playstyle. It’s especially clutch for fast-paced Ranked matches where consistency matters and every missed input costs SR. The controller feels premium, comfortable in long sessions, and the responsiveness is top-tier. Profiles are easy to switch, so you can run different setups for respawn modes vs Search. If you’re serious about improving mechanics, movement, and overall control, the DualSense Edge is absolutely worth it.

The best first party controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They knocked it out of the park with this controller. It feels premium in the hand. The inter-swappable thumb sticks and back paddles are very high quality. So is the carrying case with a cable port for charging your controller while inside. The cable has a lock mechanism and is long. The only gripes I have are the battery life, which is slightly worse than a standard DualSense and the plastic faceplate over the bottom half of the controller where the joysticks are. It feels easy to scratch. The same plastic as the body of the ps5. I wish it were matte or a different material.

Great PS5 controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this controller back in October 2025, I have two other regular dual sense 5 controllers that have been good but was looking for some extra buttons to map for particular games. I have to say, I really love the overall feel, it’s perfectly balanced weight has a very premium feel, and my favorite part being the triggers are adjustable to engage at short pull/push. Only issue I’ve had so far is battery life, which is much shorter than the normal dual sense 5 controller.

Perfect licensed controller!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Finally, the black version! This controller has been serving me well in competitive gameplay, like Overwatch and Marvel Rivals. The weight and feel of this controller is quite comfortable, which makes for comfortable gaming. The physcial and digital customization is fantastic; from different sized paddles and joysticks to best meet your preference, to being able to customize trigger and stick deadzones, as well as stick curves and button mapping. The FN (function) buttons are handy for swapping profiles, but I like the little things in small packages, such as being able to control headphone volume by holding FN and toggling up or down on the D-Pad, or balancing Party audio and Game Volume by doing the same, but by toggling left or right on the D-Pad. The extra parts you get in the sleek case is a nice bonus, but I much love the braided charging cable that comes with it! Highly recommend this to any PS lover!

As pro as PlayStation can get
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As soon as I unpacked it I knew it was gonna be good. Easy to understand, multiple settings, and a lot of flexibility regarding third party joysticks. This immediately helped my shots on battlefield, and the controls of the triggers definitely made a different on marvel rivals

Premium product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been loving this controller. The added heft alone feels great and aids gameplay for me, feels like I'm holding a quality product. The programmable nature of it is wonderful, especially setting up various profiles for different types of games, and all the accessories and accoutrements it comes with are very useful, including the high quality case (which you can even charge the controller from!). The battery life unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired, but otherwise it's excellent, especially if you can catch it on sale

But it you won’t regret it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn’t sure about getting this because of the price and talks about battery life but so far I’ve enjoyed it. My primary reason for buying it was to avoid stick drift that one of my regular controllers currently has plus these regular controllers are pretty pricey for something so troublesome. I feel like controller all around is better as far as feels and reaction. Definitely something that I would tell my friend or a stranger to buy or invest in. Apparently also this controller is meant to be attached to a cable mostly so a long cable is included which doesn’t make gaming more difficult or anything. If you get one cheers.

DualSense Edge in Midnight Black Review
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the DualSense Edge in Midnight Black from BestBuy as a Christmas gift for my son, and it has quickly become his favorite present. The sleek and professional Midnight Black finish is something he greatly prefers over the standard white. He mainly uses it for competitive shooters, and the ability to swap the back paddles and adjust the trigger sensitivity has significantly enhanced his gameplay. Additionally, the replaceable analog stick modules are a major plus for me, as it means we won't need to buy an entirely new controller if he experiences stick drift. The only reason I’m rating it 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the battery life. It depletes faster than the standard controller (typically lasting around 5–6 hours), which means he often has to play with the included cable connected. Fortunately, the cable is long and of high quality, so it’s not a major issue. All in all, it’s a premium, high-performance upgrade that any PS5 player would truly appreciate.
