So much more capable and robust than the standard controller.

I mean, in concept, it's cool. In execution, it's frustrating. The design doesn't look nearly as great as the original DualShock 5. A detatchable faceplate is cool and all, but it's kidna useless. The battery life is poor. In order to charge it, you need it plugged into the PS5; you can't just use any old USB outlet. Way too many customization options and it actually makes the game stop working if a certain function hasn't been assigned to a profile. If you're in a spot where you need to mash a button, it will tell you that you haven't assigned it to this profile and it's very difficult to know how to assign it. Like, your controller just decides to stop working because it's not assigned, even though it's a basic function of the game! For $200, you aren't getting your money's worth. The regular DualShock 5 is FAR better! Better battery life, better design, and it won't randomly quit working on you! Xbox made a better version than Sony did. VERY disappointed.

I switched from a ps5 scuff controller and wish I would have known there’s only two buttons on the bottom. The two function buttons below the thumbsticks are absolutelly useless and a waste of space. For FPS gamers they need to be moved to the bottom so we have full controll of the sticks and can straff while jumping, reloading, prone etc. restricting them to function/menu buttons is the dumbest thing a developer can do, that’s litterally what the “PS” button is meant for, adjust the menu system there to modify settings for the edge controller, not two extra buttons. If I knew about this I would have stuck with the scuff brand.

Great design. Has everything you need from a pro controller. Playstation needed this ype of controller.
