Been using the edge for about a month now and gotta say it feels really good. It’s very comfortable in my hands and very responsive. Battery is not that great but overall the controller is very good!

Awesome controller, slick, work great, alot better then stock controllers. It has a tad bit more heft to it which i personally like, the only negative i could say is how fast it dies but with that lockable charger that it come with does help alot always felt like the charging port was going to break on stock controllers, especially if you have kids.

The physical customization is just the beginning. Being able to swap out back buttons and thumb srick heads is nice but already standard in pro controllers. The addition of replaceable (and therefore possibly upgradeable) thumbstick units is SUPER cool. The customization you can do in the PS5 settings takes this controller to the next level. Almost mandatory if you really want to perform at the top level. PS: Best Buy should delete the garbage reviews thay are not only not a verified purchase but literally say they wont ever try it or buy it. Ridiculous people have so little going in their life they would leave a fake review for a playstation controller.

    My favorite controller

I purchased the Dual Sense Edge on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. The controller has all the features you could want in a pro controller, a heavier feel, customization, paddles, trigger depression settings, hot swaps, etc. Once acclimating to the paddles you can add on the back I did in fact see a notable improvement in my performance in competitive games. My one and only draw back is the controllers PC compatibility—although holding that against it is dumb because the controller was designed for the PS5 not pc—I had some issues with voice chat and what not, with my computer wanting to use the built in controller mic, but for solo games or people with a better tech understanding than me, the edge rocks on pc as well

I give it 5 stars, simply for peace of mind. I've had stick drift with my original PS5 controller, and last month my backup controller started having it, very glad I got the extended warranty, got a best buy gift card and used that toward this. Battery life isn't an issue for me, and wasn't with dualsense as I play with vibration, and trigger effect intensity set to weak, and brightness of controller indicators set to dim. The back buttons have improved my times in Hitman 3, moving while concealing my weapon, and picking up objects (opening doors). Shortening the trigger throws has sped me too. Look forward to using this, when my VR Sense controllers need charging, or using those when this needs to be charged. Also, the PS5 settings are outstanding, and switching profiles is a breeze, do not over look that feature.

This is something that Sony shouldve done years ago. I love the addition of buttons and customability of the remote. Perfect controller. Only complaint is the battery life is not as substantial at the xbox elite remote.

The Sony DualSense Wireless Edge controller takes gaming to another level. The build quality feels premium and solid, with just the right weight in hand. The adjustable triggers, swappable stick caps, and back buttons make it completely customizable for any playstyle—whether competitive shooters or long RPG sessions. The haptic feedback and adaptive triggers are on another level, giving you immersive detail that no other controller matches. Battery life is good for the power it delivers, and the included carrying case makes it easy to keep everything organized. Yes, it’s on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for here. If you’re serious about gaming and want the absolute best controller experience, the DualSense Edge is worth every penny.

Worth the money if you’re a serious gamer who goes hard on controllers! Switched from a Xbox elite series 2 to this once I got a pc! My main reason was because I’ve gone through 3 elites over the last 3 years and all of them started to get stick drift within 6 months, or lb -rb problems. $200 is worth it to have the interchange thumb sticks if they end up getting stick drift! Also if anyone is gonna use it on Pc, I recommend ds4 (free) , let’s it be recognized as an Xbox controller on games outside of steam and stuff like that

it Truly is amazing. the feel and Customization you can do with the bottom mapping and swapping of the grips on the thumbs sticks or how much you nedd to pull on each trigger. and not that your likey to ever have a drift in your sticks (looking at you Nintendo and Xbox) you can swap them out in mear seconds and for less then 20$ each (about 10$ i believe) and the fact it has its own case and you can charge it as its in the case muchless clip the charger to it so it wont fall off. again love it and if i could in provie on it i would only like to have it in different colors but its still so worth having

This is the best game controller on the market. I used to stand by SCUF controllers, but SONY is now better. The configurability, D-Pad, switches, and feel is all great. The battery life is also surprisingly long. The carrying case alone is worth the purchase especially if you travel, compete, or just want to keep your controller safe and clean. The DualSense Edge feels like the natural evolution for those seeking a more tactical and customizable PS5 experience without losing the magic of haptic feedback. What truly makes it stand out is its ability to adapt to your specific playstyle, whether you're adjusting the trigger travel distance for a speed advantage in shooters or mapping the back paddles to make every movement feel more fluid. Beyond that, the ability to replace the joystick modules adds a layer of longevity that is much appreciated, eliminating the frustration of having to retire a controller just because of daily wear and tear. It is, in essence, a premium controller that doesn't just boost performance—it feels incredibly solid and comfortable during those long sessions where every detail counts.

The best official sony ps5 controller you can get, there may be 3rd party controllers more suited to you depending on your specific needs, but realistically most people dont need this controller, but it is nice for those that either do need a more pro controller, or that are willing to pay the hefty price just for something they want but dont really need, like i did, lol. I missed my back paddle attachment from ps4, so that was my main drive to get the edge. It does have a good few other features, replaceable sticks, trigger blocks, 3 savable profiles for different settings which makes it easier when switching games and you can switch quickly between profiles and the profile settings are fairly in depth for customizing, but may be a little overwhelming for the casual gamer, but can also be ignored of you dont need that feature. Battery life is between 4-6 hours, which isnt great, but at least theres a 10 foot charging cable which can actually lock into the controller which is nice. Plus 2 different back paddle styles, 3 different stick styles, and all fits in a nice case.

Really great controller. Heavier than the standard PS5 dualsense controller. Great customizable controller options. Carrying case is great to keep the controller looking new while traveling. Only downside would be the battery life (5ish hours).

First thing is the price. It is quite expensive. I don't like that too much, but it is an official controller from Sony so I don't mind too much. I just wish for the price that the warranty was much longer. The quality on this is top notch. The triggers on the rear can be set up any way you want, and that changes the whole game for first-person shooters. Did it make me a better gamer? I doubt it, but it may help you. Once you have those buttons in the back, you just can't go back. You can also set the travel on the triggers, great for first person shooters. It feels heavier than a standard controller, which it should. I cannot compare to any other aftermarket controllers because I don't have any, but this is definitely one of the best controllers I've ever used. I also have an Xbox series x elite 2 controller, but this PS5 controller seems to be of better quality. Plus it's lighter. If this controller lasts a couple of years without any major quality issues, I will leave this review alone. But for the price, I expect it to last at least two years. If it doesn't, I will update the review. If you have $200, get this.
