Great controller / laughable battery life

Great controller. Does everything I need, have had for a few months now and still going strong. I’ve seen reviews about the underside material becoming stained or wearing down with extended use. I see where this could be an issue down the line, but haven’t noticed anything yet. Luckily you’re able to swap parts with a more durable piece, to my understanding. Took off one star because the battery life is comically bad. But Sony was obviously aware of this, so an XL charging cable that locks into the controller port is included in the box. I would recommend this controller to anyone who plays competitive shooters / loot games.

This PlayStation controller is the best controller, hands-down. This PlayStation controller is the only one you will ever need. You don’t have to worry about getting rid of your controller when it gets stick drift because all you literally do is pop out the thumb controls and pop in new ones. My son is now 11 years old and he’s been playing with this controller for two years.. this is the best.

The DualSense Edge is easily the most impressive controller I’ve ever used. It takes everything I already loved about the original DualSense — haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, comfortable grip — and turns it up to 11 with customization, precision, and performance. The interchangeable stick caps and back paddles give it that pro-level edge for competitive play, and the ability to save custom profiles means I can switch from a fast-paced shooter setup to a relaxed RPG layout in seconds. The build quality feels premium — solid, responsive, and balanced in the hands. Even the braided USB-C cable and included case make it feel like a serious upgrade. Is it worth the price? Absolutely — if you’re serious about PlayStation gaming, this is a game-changer. Sony finally gave us a high-end controller that matches the power of the PS5.

This controller is amazing. I was having problems with my regular PS5 controller constantly disconnecting because the cable didn’t lock in, But now no connection issues and I’m finally having fun again with the games I used to enjoy on pc. Feels more durable, has Good weight to it, And eventually, when I get stick drift, I’m not spending a ton of money. I could just change the joysticks. 10/10

Bought the Dualsense Edge along with the Razer Wolverine and Victrix BFG Pro to test out. The Edge despite having the worst battery life of the bunch ultimately felt the best overall to me. The BFG felt cheap lacking vibration and haptics. It was just too light. I did turn down the vibration and haptics level to get more battery life out of the Edge. I absolutely hated the back buttons on the Razer.

Wont have to worry about stick drift and feels nice on the hands especially the shorten triggers but the battery is smaller ao dies quicker is the only downside but if you game close to your tv or monitor you can just plug and play easily

A great addition to the gaming arsenal, this controller is much more durable, and feels nicer to hold than the normal Dualsense. The locking cord is a much more usable feature, and less of a gimmick than I thought. I think it’s mostly worth the steep price if you’re playing a lot, because stick drift is fixable for just $20 with the changeable modules, instead of just buying a whole new controller.

It's a really good controller, I like it a lot. It has several configuration options. The only thing I would change is the battery, which doesn't hold a charge very well for the price; it should last longer.

Sony really did well on this controller I wasn’t how they were going to execute this one. But man did they exceed my expectations further I love this controller, there’s so many things you can do with this device. My favorite one is the customization of this controller how you can change the trigger if you want to press it quicker. Overall great controller I suggest y’all to get this.

I recently bought the DualSense Edge controller from Best Buy, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, answering all my questions about the controller’s features and compatibility. The checkout process was smooth, and the product was available for immediate pickup, which was super convenient. As for the controller itself, it’s a game-changer. The customizable buttons and enhanced grip make gaming more immersive, especially for competitive play. Best Buy had a great display that allowed me to see the product up close before purchasing, which made the decision easy. Overall, a fantastic purchase experience! If you’re looking for quality tech products and excellent customer service, Best Buy is the place to go.

Couldn't ask for a better PlayStation controller plus no more worries about stick drift as they sell a direct replacement that takes all of 2-3 minutes to change

Wont play with a basic controller again. They have a bit more wieght to them. Sturdy. Buttons sticks etc feel great. Slide buttons in back for tension is the best. R2 L2 triggers don't need to be pressed all the way down. Battery life is much shorter than regular controller though. Maybe after 4-5 hours needs charged in my experience of heavy gameplay.

A steep price, but it's the last controller ill ever need. I like the the extra buttons you can program on the back. They replace my L3 and R3 pressing, and just make it easier to use those buttons. The wired mode is convienient, as I dont need a wireless for my set up and dont need to worry about my controller dying. I also like the volume control through the controller, and adaptive triggers. It makes switching from different game types, fast and easy.

This controller has been one of the best controllers I have used. It has a ton of different ways to customize and is very durable. It lasted me almost 3 years before stick drift STARTED. It got unplayable after 4 years.
