Unboxing feels phenomenal. Box was pristine, picked-up from store with ease. The controller has a nice bit of extra weight that makes holding it feel extra satisfying. Instantly better at FPS games and other games with added customization. Could use better grip though.

I was skeptical when buying this controller that it wouldn't be able to justify the price difference compared the regular Dual Sense. I loved the regular PS5 controllers but after playing with this for a month, I hate using my regular ones. IMO, it's the best "high end" controller i've had which includes the Xbox Elite 2 and the Astro C40. The triggers and the joysticks are even more responsive than the regular controller and I thought they were great.........before playing with this one. I'm not a competitive gamer and play a bunch of online shooters, I mainly play sports, racing and adventure games with occasional online shooters. The only thing I wish was better is the battery life. It's not any better than the regular controller which is about 6-8 hours depending on what game you're playing and how much it uses haptic feedback and vibration and stuff like that. Overall, I love this controller and would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Great accessory for the ps5 gamer experience. Feels good in the hands. A little bit heavier than the original controller but it feels premium. Battery life could be better but it’s comes with a charger that feels premium too. No complaints after a few months so far

[Employee of bestbuy] Let me preface this by saying I’ve owned 2 xbox elite series 2 controllers, both of their right bumpers started to fail to detect clicks, and would double click. They both ended up with drift, and on one of them the left joystick no longer clicked down. This controller automatically makes up for the xbox elite controller downfalls. The duelsense edge has replaceable joysticks, and it uses simple shoulder buttons that wont fail after 3 months of use which is already a massive w. The build quality of the duelsense edge is on par or better than the xbox elite controller, in fact it surprised me how premium the duelsense edge feels to hold and play with. The back paddles feel about the same as the xbox’s, the joysticks feel tight and precise, the controller itself it more comfortable to hold for extended periods of play (in my opinion) and the trigger stops are really nice. The only downsides of this controller are the pricing, and the battery life.

I got this controller with extremely high expectations, considering Sony priced it at $200 I held off for a long time. I bought this so I could use the paddles in racing games like F125, and I’ve been very pleased with it. My only complaint is that the battery seems to drain quite a bit faster than the normal PS5 controllers. This thing feels extremely premium though

Love this controller and coming back to having paddles like the elite 2 controller. Seems better built than the elite controller the only draw back like everyone has said is the battery life isn’t that great, if you game for 8 hours you’ll end up charging halfway through but it charges fast and comes with a very long cord.

I’ve had this controller for almost 3 years and haven’t had any issues from this controller! I’ve only had to replace one thumb stick! By far better than Scuf, which is crappy!

love it. the controller feels nice, and has a little bit of weight to it. you can feel the quality. I had reservations about buying it, but no regrets now.

Best remote I’ve ever used from my over gaming experience I used to pay a lot more for a scuff controller and this one by far beats it

Honestly a very good controller even for the average consumer. The customization is adequate with settings such as different profiles for each game and two programmable buttons. Cons, about 4 hrs battery life and i wish there was more programmable buttons (4 in total at least). Overall a must buy if you're an average to elite gamer.

Great product bought it for my son and he definitely abuses his remotes. The fact that he plays several ours throughout the day and it last over a year its more that what a regular remote lasted him.

If you are looking to improve your FPS game skills, this control is definitely worth its value. You will have access to pads that are easy to configure. In general, the whole control feels heavy-duty and doesn't compromise handling mechanics.

The flexibility of being able to configure controls on a per game basis is great and the extra paddles provide a much needed input in some of the games I play. Only thing that sucks is the lesser battery life compared to the regular Dualsense but it's worth the trade off

First lets start with the ability to swap out a stick if you get stick drift. The back buttons are in a great spot, i use the knobs instead of the paddles. Its responsive and comfortable hold. The trigger stops are great also. All around great option for the game who wants more but didn't want a full blown custom contrller. I would give it a perfect score but the battery leaves much to be desired with only 4 hrs of ON time.

It has a nice way to it, and it does feel very premium. Sometimes the back buttons are pressed in advertently, but other than that it works great. The only other downside I can think of is the battery doesn’t last very long so make sure you have one or two extras sitting around.

Playstation makes a high fidelity experience. But I just keep playing my Xbox. The controller is perfect, EXCEPT there is only 2 back paddles. Realistically, I usually only use two of the back paddles. There is two front triggers, and those work great for controlling game chat and audio levels. Love that! But I like having all back paddles. Other than that: The Sony controller is the best I've ever used. Feels great in the hand and the haptics are head and shoulders above all else besides maybe the Switch when it's at it's best. The haptic triggers are cool as well, but in a competitive environment it's more of a gimmick. The headphone jack works as it's supposed to. Other and final downside is that the battery doesn't last long. Really really a great controller though. If you're not in a competitive environment and you only need two back paddles, this is the controller for you.

In all honesty, it’s very good controller. Don’t get me wrong, but not even a month in. I was already having stick drift and the battery does not last eight hours at least not for me. the one thing I hate about this controller is when I’m playing a game like call of duty and I lag somehow my controller lags too and it causes the controller to act weird very hard to explain but overall it’s a good controller
