Helps that I have an extra but it’s just an all around amazing controller. Especially when I get in a game. Reaction time when you hit the button to what happens on the screen is just amazing.

Great controller with the extra mods on it! Works great for gaming and can modifier for even lessened latency. Con would be the battery life when playing the game a lot (obviously charge if gaming for long periods)

Let me preface this by saying I’ve owned 2 xbox elite series 2 controllers, both of their right bumpers started to fail to detect clicks, and would double click. They both ended up with drift, and on one of them the left joystick no longer clicked down. This controller automatically makes up for the xbox elite controller downfalls. The duelsense edge has replaceable joysticks, and it uses simple shoulder buttons that wont fail after 3 months of use which is already a massive w. The build quality of the duelsense edge is on par or better than the xbox elite controller, in fact it surprised me how premium the duelsense edge feels to hold and play with. The back paddles feel about the same as the xbox’s, the joysticks feel tight and precise, the controller itself it more comfortable to hold for extended periods of play (in my opinion) and the trigger stops are really nice. The only downsides of this controller are the pricing, and the battery life.

Love this controller and coming back to having paddles like the elite 2 controller. Seems better built than the elite controller the only draw back like everyone has said is the battery life isn’t that great, if you game for 8 hours you’ll end up charging halfway through but it charges fast and comes with a very long cord.

For for any serious gamer, this is it must have it is super awesome. It’s the item that you didn’t know you needed until you hold it in your hands. The joysticks are interchangeable so when they start to get some stick drift, you can change them comes in an awesome cave with a charger Has so many customizable settings that your regular controller doesn’t have it’s worth the price after using this controller, you won’t want to do a regular one

Not only getting to hold this experience, it brought my game play to life especially playing Final Fantasy. The extra paddles and sensitivity to how far down they go makes a huge difference when swapping moves. Just hearing the grass crunch as I walk around and the vibrations to a variety of scenarios. I was too impatient to wait a few days to get the newer black one so I bought this one and it did not disappoint!

First lets start with the ability to swap out a stick if you get stick drift. The back buttons are in a great spot, i use the knobs instead of the paddles. Its responsive and comfortable hold. The trigger stops are great also. All around great option for the game who wants more but didn't want a full blown custom contrller. I would give it a perfect score but the battery leaves much to be desired with only 4 hrs of ON time.

In all honesty, it’s very good controller. Don’t get me wrong, but not even a month in. I was already having stick drift and the battery does not last eight hours at least not for me. the one thing I hate about this controller is when I’m playing a game like call of duty and I lag somehow my controller lags too and it causes the controller to act weird very hard to explain but overall it’s a good controller

It has a nice way to it, and it does feel very premium. Sometimes the back buttons are pressed in advertently, but other than that it works great. The only other downside I can think of is the battery doesn’t last very long so make sure you have one or two extras sitting around.

Great grip to it, exceptional quality. Love the paddles behind, they're nice and precise. Wish the battery was improved, but it fits onto the same charger I've been using for the regular controllers. The fact I can replace a stick if it starts to drift is worth the investment.

I buy quite a few of these, but I also modify controllers. However, if I didn't, that would still be a good controller. Although they do have their name, small issues. But overall, I'd say they are pretty good. If you are not lucky they will drift. Fairly early on and the paddles are not very sturdy. I have had hit and miss experiences with these but.Overall they've been fairly good.

Perfect upgrade from the basic controller. It’s not too heavy and the joy cons are smooth as butter. I really like the case and optional back paddles. Easy to take apart and clean.

Best pro style PS5 controller hands down. I've have a SCUF and an AIM but the one I consistently pick up is the Edge. The main reason is the on screen setup, controls and customization directly in the PS menus. No apps, no computers needed. I can adjust my deadzones, curve type, remap buttons and the two back paddles (not the half shells) are perfect for how I hold the controller. Make sure to get the protection plan in case of drift (also grab a couple of the stick modules on sony's site and send them off for Hall Effect upgrades) and you're set. Don't waste your money on limited warranty's that don't even cover stick drift. Get it right the first time, get the Edge

The Dual Sense Edge is the greatest controller

This is my second Dual Sense Edge controller and I have to say out of all the "Pro" controllers on the Playstation side it is the best gor what your paying, way better than the scuff and any other. I love being able to have haptic feedback for story games and the half triggers for fps games. The best feature is being able to change out the stick modules because stivk drift sucks, even tho you can do this I did not experience any issues with the first controller. Over all its durable, good battery life, confortable grip and just better!

It's well made the and the back buttons feel good. You can save 4 load outs for the back buttons. Came with like a 10 foot USB to type c charging cord with a attachment piece that will lock the type c into the controller to kind of turn it into a wired controller. You can modify you deadzones on the ps5 for you sticks and triggers. You can also change the L2 R2 trigger pulls with buttons on back of controller. Haven't swapped a stick out yet but looks pretty easy and you can buy replacements from PlayStation. The battery on it I haven't timed but it's less then the normal dualsense but the 10 foot cord helps with that.
