I recently purchased the Sony DualSense Edge Wireless Controller, and I must say, it's a solid addition to my gaming setup. Here are some key points: Comfortable Grip: The ergonomic design of this controller ensures a comfortable gaming experience, even during extended sessions. It fits well in my hands. Responsive Buttons and Triggers: The buttons and triggers are highly responsive, and the haptic feedback adds a layer of immersion to games that support it. Wireless Range: The wireless range is excellent, and I haven't experienced any connectivity issues. I can play from a reasonable distance without any lag. Battery Life: Battery life is decent. It lasts for several gaming sessions before needing a recharge. Build Quality: Sony has done a great job with the build quality. It feels durable and well-constructed. Overall, the Sony DualSense Edge Wireless Controller is a reliable and well-designed gaming accessory. It enhances the gaming experience without any unnecessary frills. Definitely worth the investment if you're a PlayStation gamer.

I finally pulled the trigger on the DualSense Edge, and after spending some serious time with it, I can honestly say it’s one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my setup. If you’re on the fence about whether a "pro" controller is worth the extra cash, here’s why I’m officially recommending this one. Why I’m Loving It Total Control: The back paddles are the star of the show. Being able to jump, slide, or reload without taking my thumbs off the sticks feels like a superpower in fast-paced games. It takes a day or two to get the muscle memory down, but once you do, you can't go back. The "Insurance Policy": The fact that the joystick modules are replaceable is the main reason I bought this. Standard controllers eventually get stick drift, and usually, that means the controller is trash. With the Edge, you just pop out the module, slide in a new one for $20, and you're back in business. Customization is Seamless: I love that I can set up different profiles for different games. I have one for shooters with short trigger pulls and high stick sensitivity, and another for racing games with full trigger travel. Switching between them takes two seconds. Premium Feel: It feels solid. The grips are better, the weight is perfect, and even the carrying case it comes with feels high-end (it even has a little door so you can charge it while it’s inside the case).

I love this controller, nothing to complain about. 200$ is a lot of money for a controller but it will last forever. No stick drift, no button issues. Everything this controller comes with is worth the price it’s given. Four different sticks to choose from and change. Very easy just pull the stick out from the controller then twist the new one in and press down. Trigger stoppers, grip on back of controller, adaptive settings in Playstation, fully customizable, sleek styling you can really tell apart of which is the ordinary PS5 controller, to the PS5 Edge controller. Buying it used from Best Buy and saving a couple of bucks it came quickly and packaged well. Will recommend to anyone who doesn’t feel like spending 70$+ every time a controller breaks. 10/10 Would buy again!

Got this for my husband as he goes through a lot of controllers due to stick drift. This controller has held up MUCH longer than any other controller we've had. It's the same size as any other standard PS5 controller so it feels comfortable and he enjoys the customerization ability.

I bought this specifically for Call of Duty and the customization is very helpful. I like that you can buy replacement sticks, but at the same time it's a turn off since the regular controllers and probably this one are susceptible to stick drift; good luck finding replacement sticks as well (if you see any on sale, buy them). The battery on this is probably the biggest drawback. It has less capacity than the regular controllers, therefore you you get less time playing through wireless. Despite the battery, this is still a good controller to give you shortcuts to certain actions in games.

The controller feels premium. But sometimes i feel is a bit too much for me. I play FC24 and COD. For COD is amazing i can fully customise everything. The best thing is that the i always get drift on my controllers after a while. Making me spend $70 to replace entire controller. With the edge i can just spend $20 and replace the joy stick. Its simple. Also i can adjust volume and mic with the function button as im play at same time without going to manu. I love it.. but for $200 i would Not purchase if you a ocasional playee.. if you a competitive gamer. I recommend. I got it on special for $150. Ohh another thing.. battery sucks about 3-4 hours. You can use it with no problem with the cable it comes with… the carying case is really nice and premium. Gives you options for the back paddles.

This is by far the BEST DualSense controller of all time, it beats out the regular DualSense, Elite Series II, Wolverine V2, and more! I mean, if you are looking for a PlayStation Pro Controller, this is DEFINITELY the one you are looking for!! The ease of use is just so terrific! You can easily switch to different controller paddle/button profiles, just by the click of two buttons! (FN+Circle/Square/Triangle/X) if you have controller drift, instead of buying a whole new controller, you can just buy a new stick module!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can just slide the release button in between the paddles, then the top part covering the joysticks just comes right off, then you can just lift the lever, (Left/Right Lever) lift the module gently, pull it out and slide in the new one, (or two) put the lever(s) back down, put the top part back on, which is a little tricky, but it’ll be fine, then enjoy a drift-free controller! Now, granted, these great features will cost you $199. But, (at least in my opinion) it is well worth it if you are into shooter games, racing games, or you are just a competitive gamer like me, if you want precise aiming, like if you are playing Call Of Duty, Fortnite, Apex, you can just set a profile to that, and maybe you can just call it “shooting”, or any of the mentioned games names. So overall, a terrific controller!

Absolutely blown away by this controller. The DualSense Edge feels like a true upgrade in every way from the premium build quality to the insane level of customization. Being able to fine tune the triggers, remap buttons, and adjust stick sensitivity completely changes how you play. It’s not just a controller, it actually gives you a competitive edge. The back buttons took a little getting used to, because I’m used to scuf controllers but this is very good too. Everything feels more responsive,(Make sure the plug in for better connection and less button delay) more precise, and just smoother overall. You can tell a lot of thought went into making this for serious gamers. Yeah, it’s pricey but once you use it, you understand why. If you’re someone who plays often or wants the best possible experience, this is 100% worth it. Easily one of the best remotes I’ve ever owned.

The DualSense Edge is a premium, super-customizable PS5 controller that really shines if you take your gaming seriously. The adjustable triggers, remappable buttons, back paddles, and multiple control profiles give you way more control and precision than the standard DualSense, and the build quality feels solid and comfortable in long sessions. It’s definitely pricey, and the battery life is shorter than the regular controller, but if you want pro-level features, smoother aim, faster reactions, and a controller that you can truly tailor to each game, the Edge delivers.

The Dualsense Edge is an extremely nice controller overall. If you’ve used the normal dualsense controller, then you know what I’m referring to. It fits nicely in the hand, is comfortable for long gaming sessions. I’m sure different people have different preferences, but here’s my input: Pros: Overall the controller is very comfortable, easy to use and having additional buttons to map is nice as well. (read cons about button mapping) The dualsense trigger adaptive feature is awesome. Especially when playing spider man or any racing game on the PS5, it definitely adds to the experience of whatever game you are playing. Having the ability to control the trigger pull distance is nice when switching from a racing game, where you need to be able the speed of your car coming around a turn, to an FPS, where every millisecond counts. the carrying case is very nice, and I like that it’s made from a harder material Cons: Button mapping(told you this would be back) “having additional buttons in the form of paddles means additional mappable buttons right?” Nope! Where you can rearrange the paddles to be mapped in place of a different button, you cannot map them as their own “additional” command, which I feel like was a missed opportunity. When in fps mode, although the distance of the pull is significantly shorter, I feel like it could have been even better. The face buttons aren’t comfortable to use, in my opinion. They feel like you have to put force into pressing them even when you don’t because of the mushy membrane internals underneath. I ended up buying a kit to replace the internals under the face buttons for mine from Extreme rate on amazon for like $18, to make the buttons more comfortable to use when playing. The battery life is basically non-existent. It says 10hrs, but after a full charge and then only a couple hours of playing, the controller is already at 1 bar. I know they also sell battery life extensions that you can get, but that’s an additional cost on top of your $200 controller. Carrying case/charging: where the case is nice, the charging is kind of janky. It’s just a hole in the back of the case with Velcro covering it where you feed your cable through and plug it into your controller. Unlike the elite controller from Xbox that has pins that the controller just sits on in the case, and the case is the charging station. The dualsense edge is a great controller, but I don’t know if it’s worth it at $200. I’d wait til it goes on sale (if Sony allows that Lol) or just modify your own controller to better fit you. Compared to the Xbox Elite 2 controller, which I’ve mentioned multiple times, because I also have one. I feel like the Edge falls short; especially for costing $20 more than its competitor, at its $200 price point, when an elite costs $180 and is just overall a better controller with the exception of the adaptive triggers.

I love the premium feel of the controller. The grip feels better than the original. The software tied with the controller is great with changing the back button combinations. Swaping the dome buttons to paddles is so easy. The biggest selling point for me is that you can replace the stick modules. If your controller has stick drift, for 20 or 25 dollars, you can replace the entire stick instead of buying an entirely new controller. If you have the official charging station from Playstation, you can charge this controller instead of plugging it into the console. The downsides are: The battery doesn't last as long as a regular controller. The charging cable is really long so that is not an issue for me. There are only two back buttons instead of 4. For this price point, there should be 4 back buttons. For me I only need two. If you can get over the downsides and don't care about the color of your controller, this is the last controller you'll have to buy.

    Unbeatable Open-Box Elite Controller

Grabbed this open-box DualSense Edge from Best Buy, and I’m blown away by the quality! The controller arrived in pristine condition – zero stick drift, no scratches, and all accessories were included (case, cables, swappable stick caps, and back buttons). It looked and felt 100% new. The performance? Exceptional. The adjustable trigger stops make shooters like *Call of Duty* incredibly responsive, and the customizable back paddles are game-changers for competitive play. The textured grips and premium weight make long sessions comfortable, and the on-device menu (for button mapping) is genius. Battery life is solid for a feature-packed controller. For **$50+ less than new** (thanks to Best Buy’s open-box discount), this was an absolute steal. If you’re eyeing an elite controller but want to save cash, trust Best Buy’s open-box program. This one’s a total win!

Great controller. Battery life leaves something to be desired. If you want it for pro gaming I highly recommend it. Feels even better than the DualSense which I didn't think was possible. Little heftier but nothing major. Can finally update wirelessly without having to plug in but that's with every controller now. Cord included is long enough I could actually leave it plugged in if needed to play with the shorter battery life. It is considerably shorter. Most gaming sessions for me are 3 hours or so. With the regular DualSense it would be about 1 battery gone. With this one it's 2 every time. Not a major issue for some if you don't have long gaming sessions. If you're going over 5 hours though you're gonna need to plug in or switch controllers. $150 would probably be the sweet spot of cost vs worth in my opinion but still overall a great controller.

At first I was hesitant at getting this controller because of the price. However, after finally deciding and “pulling the trigger” and I purchased it. This controller feels better in someway. It feels more heavy, but not too heavy to make it obnoxious. The joysticks all feel nice and premium, especially the ps3 ones, and apart from all of the, the main reason on why I bought it, the fact that you can swap out the the main component of the joystick in case you ever get stuck drift. The controller’s battery isn’t the best, clocking in at 5ish hours of gameplay, give or take, but the cable makes up for it.

For $200+ i would not recommend this playstation controler. If it was 100 i would. 150 maybe. First, the joysticks have a clicking to them. I didnt notice it at first, people around me wothout headsets on told me. I then looked it up and seen other people have same issue. Point docked. After less then 30 days of playing mw2, stick drift all ready started. I had to clean it, must of had dirty hands, but wait, looked it up, a lot of people have issue with same yellowish tint forming by where pinky would sit. Alchool rubs it off a little but my prediction after so many cleanings rubber will start to fade and wear down. Points docked. Theres definitely more you can adjust then other controllers but not much. this one is strictly for ps5. Idk if it works with ps4. Or pc for that matter. The dpad buttons, up fown left right, feel really nice. Same with trickers, they have textured x o ■ triangle on them whitch can be nice, after long game play can make a numbing sensation on fingers. Being able to lock the amount of pull needed on R2 n L2 is nice. Being able to swap out joysticks after 30 day use then stick drift accuring, is nice. Dualsense joysticks on controler that came with ps5 lasted 5 month's. After watching other people taking the edge apart, the components are a lot of metal or aluminum whitch makes the pull and push of all buttons feel smooth. In return adds more weight. A lot complain about battery. Dont last as long as original controler. But can still get 4 good hours of gameplay on a charge. The lights around touch pad only come on when you first turn controller on, then they turn off and stay off. Only a small white light above ps symbol stays on. Mute button is a little better then original. I prefer the trigger/lever style exra buttons rather then the small push buttons, but both are magnetic and smooth. Im gonna keep it but i would tell someone to wait untill it drops in price or if you have reward points to use or a coupon. Not $200+tax
