Awesome controller, love the fact that you could change the joysticks only complaint a little too pricey I can’t believe the regular ones cost 80 bucks and they break so easy.

At first hold the controller feels great! The goal is to get a better kill streak in my game after learning how to use the back buttons, but I've got some work to do. A heavier controller than the standard version and it also has a lot more grip too. I replaced the thumbsticks with the short rounded ones so far so good. It also comes with like a 10ft USB-C cable to keep charging, so no down-time! Great controller is you wanna be a pro, it's up to you.

    The Best Sony Controller

This is Sony’s best controller. It feels great, the back buttons are comfortable, the trigger stops are great for certain games, and the PlayStation 3 styled thumbsticks feel much better than the newer generations to me. The replaceable joystick mudules make the controller even better than it already is. The customizability from the new Duelsense Edge menu via the PlayStation 5 console is great and simple to understand. Although I believe it is a little bit more expensive than I would have liked, this is still the best controller I have ever used!

This is the second Dual Sense Edge that I own and I absolutely love it. Being able to change profiles on the fly depending on the type of game I play, the weight, and feel is perfect for me. The added plus of changing the sticks when I get too much drift and being able adjust the triggers just adds more to the reason why I love them. The only downside for me is the battery life. I get an average of about 4-4 1/2 hours per controller, but I have to and a charging station so it’s a minor annoyance. Overall, very happy with the controllers and would recommend to family and friends.

Really nice feeling controller. Wish it had 4 rear buttons. But it works really well. Battery life is horrendous tho. Be prepared to leave it plugged in. I will be returning for this reason alone. Everything else is really nice. The hard case is fantastic.

Overall, I am satisfied. It is an expensive purchase to be sure, but you only live once. If you can afford it, give it a shot. The controller has a premium feel and is well-made. It is heavy and noticeable in weight compared to the regular DualSense. The controller comes with a hard-case and a 10 foot lockable charging cable, and for good reason - the battery life is poor. There is no two ways about it. After 3-4 hours, you'll be getting notices to charge. Not ideal. Other than the battery issue, the controller is top notch. The triggers are adjustable, customizable profiles, 2 back buttons with choice of button, and thumbstick is replaceable in case of drift. Hall Sticks would have been superior but these are comparable to a lesser degree.

It’s a great controller a little smaller than the regular dual sense controller. Also the battery is not as big as the regular controller so be ready to charge it more often. That wasn’t a problem since they supply a long cable. I did get stick drift after less than a year of using it so make sure to get that warranty.

A gamer's controller. If you are into first person shooters, or want to play a game with a little extra, this is for you. The customizable buttons allow for an almost endless experience, but the price may set you back. I would not recommend this for novice or casual gamers because they will never really use the features it provides which given the cost would be wasting money. However, the sturdy design and adjustable triggers make this a must have for shooters. The case is a nice addition the PS5 series of accessories, and it fits nicely in larger hands. The only other downside (which I have read and not experienced) is the short battery life. So far, this has not been a problem, but I do not spend more than 3 hours in any one game.

I am mainly a PC player slowly getting into console, I bought this controller for Battlefield 2042, COD, and GTA 5… I’ve tried the Razer Wolverine that sadly didn’t fit to my liking, but this dual sense edge controller is very descent. A little on the heavier side but I don’t mind it a bit. I do recommend it. Mapping it is very easy and changing between profiles is very convenient. I mainly keep hard wired, but have done wireless and it last roughly 3 hours on one charge. My friend in New Zealand bought one after me and it’s his always go to controller.

It’s the same frame as the regular controllers but with a few more bells and whistles. It is slightly heavier but that’s something I actually like. I can definitely consider it an upgrade. It’s not to the same level as the Xbox Elite controller which just leagues above the regular Xbox controllers. But it was worth the price for me. Almost 200 hours of Dragon’s Dogma was its initiation.

If you can get past the sticker price, it is actually an amazing piece of hardware. Specially, if you’re playing FPS games, and other competitive games. The build quality feels really good. A little more heavier than the normal dose sense but not too much and the ease of changing button layout is awesome. Also, the app that comes with the PS five is great. Not having to pay $70 to buy a whole new controller because the sticker will save you money in the end. An amazing product by Sony nonetheless the only downside is battery life about five hours.

This controller feels way better than the Xbox elite controller. Like the elite controller the grip on the controller kinda sucks. I have smaller hands so I had to add some grip tape. After that though this controller is awesome. And it has replaceable sticks if it gets stick drift.

I LOVE the customizable button layout profiles you can set with the controller, I love the swappable parts you can add/remove. I’ve never had a controller that I could customize like this and it’s been great gaming with it. What I don’t love is the horrible battery life. If you plan on even one gaming session using this controller then you MUST keep it plugged in because the battery life is so, so bad. Luckily, Sony gives you a 10ft threaded cord and a locking piece for the charger port at the front of the controller in the box along with the swappable parts and they all fit in a nice travel case. In reality I’d rate this a 4.5/5 but I can’t do half star ratings so I’ll round up to 5/5 because the positives outweigh the negatives for me here.

This is by far the best controller for FPS and some sport games. While I would prefer the battery to be better, the cable is long enough, and to some it might even be too long for playing wired. The ergonomics are great, and builds on what makes the regular dualsense amazing to hold/use. I think Sony should have spent a bit more time ironing out the biggest drawback which is the battery. I've rarely have had to charge it while playing, but I do notice it lasts roughly an hour or so less than a regular dualsense, making it the biggest "flaw" for gamers accustomed to long 5+ hour sessions. Another drawback is that there is only one color available. These two issues are mainly why I cannot give it 5 stars, but I do highly recommend it nonetheless.

The control works wonderfully, there is no damage, in addition to being an open box, the product is almost complete. The only detail I can find is that the original cable does not contain it and they only put a regular cable from some electronic device with a similar C input.
