Easy choice for more competitive players
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a more serious pvp player I've been wanting to try out a controller with paddles and finally got the chance with this. It took some grtting used to but the learning curve is easier than learning to claw your controller. The fear of stico drift is gone since you csn easily replace thumbsticks. Battery life isnt great but if you play at a desk or close to your tv, wall outlet you shoukd have no problem being wired in all the time. Carry case is pretty good quality and has storage for all the accessories that come with.

Great so far!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s the same frame as the regular controllers but with a few more bells and whistles. It is slightly heavier but that’s something I actually like. I can definitely consider it an upgrade. It’s not to the same level as the Xbox Elite controller which just leagues above the regular Xbox controllers. But it was worth the price for me. Almost 200 hours of Dragon’s Dogma was its initiation.

Two buttons away from being my favorite controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The DualSense Edge stands tall in my experience with many pro controllers. The comfort is second to none, responsiveness is on point. Battery life is not great, just need to plug into charger after every gaming session. Included accessories are also second to none. Price is what it is for these controllers, similarly priced competition. I got it as an open box for a sweet discount and perfect condition however at full price I would not buy it. I am used to having the option of four back buttons (or in Razer case two in the back, two in the 'top') therefore I find myself wanting to map more than two button to paddles and of course this controller does not provide that hence it is a set back. Other than that is light and comfortable for my gaming sessions and I am very satisfied with this product.

Dualsense Edge vs Elite 2!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best PS5 Controller in the market with admittedly a best in class UI via PS5 console to program controller functions. It has great features and feels good in the hands. However, is it better than the Xbox Elite 2? Hell no! The Xbox Elite 2 just feels like a more premium built controller, has a more robust feature set with 4 back paddles instead of Dualsense Edge 2, and Elite 2 has amazing battery life, unlike the short battery life on the Edge. The Dual Sense is still a great buy for any PS5 gamer, and my go too PS5 controller… period!

Good, overpriced, but good
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all the controller is great for what it does. Two buttons in the back, swappable stick and modules, but what really makes it worth the price is the software integration. The software integration with the ps5’s OS is just awesome. Won’t go into too much detail but the it’s quite customizable, can even change the way the analog stick responds which I think is neat. Now the bad: VERY MUSHY BUTTONS. Literally out of the box the buttons feel like they’ve been used for years. They just have no feedback, so mushy. I won’t give it a 5 stars because they basically just added features to an imperfect controller that is the dual sense. They’re great features! But it’s the same controller plagued with issues like short battery life, faulty motors and parts etc.

good product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The control works wonderfully, there is no damage, in addition to being an open box, the product is almost complete. The only detail I can find is that the original cable does not contain it and they only put a regular cable from some electronic device with a similar C input.

Worth it
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Expensive for a controller, but worth it for longevity and being able to customize the controller setting in lots of different ways. The included controller cord that clips to the controller was an added feature I didn't realize I would enjoy having so much.

The perfect PlayStation controller
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Back buttons, controller profiles and swappable thumb sticks! If you’ve ever used a Dualsense or almost any other controller for a longer amount of time, you know they always get stick drift at some point. Now when you’ve got stick drift you can just swap your sticks easily. Great performing controller, back buttons are excellent on PlayStation with the controller profiles. Works great on pc too, although not as seamlessly as regular Dualsense controllers yet.

Dual Sense Edge Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really liked this DualSense Edge controller. Right out of the box it felt premium and comfortable — the build quality is solid, and it feels a bit heavier and more “substantial” than the regular controller, which gives it a more luxurious, pro-grade vibe.

Best playstation controller, ever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The back buttons made this a 1000% better controller than dual sense. I can't go back to dual sense anymore, not even 1 minute.

It's a pretty good controller, the battery sucks
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the customization and the back paddles. The battery life is really low on it. If you like to game for a long period of time prepare to be wired.

PlayStation Elite Controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The new PlayStation elite controller is much like the Xbox Elite controller except that you can also take out the buttons and sticks and rearrange them to fit your play style. That is a big plus in customization to fit your needs. Textured grip, easy to grasp controls, multiple setting you can do, and easy to navigate on the PlayStation. The only con I can think of is for a much better textured grip all around the controller rather than only being on the palm. It should be a deeper textured grip.

I recommend this controller.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive used scuf controllers and xbox elite controllers. This is my fav out of all three of the controllers. It has many manipulations just like that other two controllers mentioned but I like the ps5 controller and to have one that is like a ps5 controller fits me well. Highly recommend if you enjoy the ps5 controller. Ive had it for about 2-3 months now and no issues. I give it a 5 because its just as easy to map the controller and change the analog sticks.

PS5 edge

Much better than normal PS5 controller.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller feels much better than the normal ps5 controller. More responsive and accurate for games like call of duty. I play competitive BO6 and it works great.

IMPORTANT READ. Plagued by Mushy face buttons.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PLEASE READ! Do not buy this controller unless you're ready to gamble on whether or not the controller is affected by mushy face buttons. A quick browse on google via reddit will net you a surplus of people dealing with this issue. RIGHT OUT THE BOX on some controllers. The square triangle circle and X buttons are completely mush and vary from unit to unit on which buttons are worse than others. The original Dualsense and other controllers prior to THIS do not have this issue. Returning the controller to Sony/best buy will NOT remedy this for 2 reasons (thus why this makes things so frustrating) 1. You could return to best buy, but more than likely you're next controller will suffer this same issue, which will most likely result in a refund (rightfully so) 2. Sony doesn't allow you to specify what exactly is wrong with the controller during return. People are on their THIRD RETURN while Sony continues to blindly try to rectify your controllers issue. Marginal success from some who have received a unit with proper feeling face buttons. A teardown of the Dualsense edge on YouTube proves the design in rubber used under the face buttons have changed, which is could have something to do with the issue - but doesn't explain why a larger amount of people don't have this issue and why each unit has a specific set of mushy face buttons. Outside of that gamble, if you're willing to take a chance: Build quality is great (minus the biggest issue) Feels solid, heavier and a big more precise in terms of grip and feel. I am a PC user, so I only get a portion of what the controller has to offer until more DSX third party support comes along Accessories are neat, storage case is solid, feels like it's gonna be dirty in a month. I just feel ripped off when my PS4 face buttons feel more crisp and sharp than a $200 controllers who's quality control seems missing, being as this issue only plaguing more people as purchases happen. Open box units are probably from people dealing with this issue, so don't buy open box either.
