Ive used scuf controllers and xbox elite controllers. This is my fav out of all three of the controllers. It has many manipulations just like that other two controllers mentioned but I like the ps5 controller and to have one that is like a ps5 controller fits me well. Highly recommend if you enjoy the ps5 controller. Ive had it for about 2-3 months now and no issues. I give it a 5 because its just as easy to map the controller and change the analog sticks.

    The best PC controller

Whether you're a PC or PS5 user, this controller is the better option over a standard controller (consider cost first). The extra buttons add zero bulk to the controller, yet give you all of the benefits. If you're on PC, those benefits are higher since you can bind buttons to keyboard keys. The complaint most people have is the battery, but if you're like me who always has the controller plugged for zero latency, then battery is not an issues.

The PlayStation DualSense Edge is a game-changer, especially with its incredible triggers and back paddles. The design is sleek and ergonomic, fitting comfortably in your hands for extended gaming sessions. The addition of back paddles is a game-changer for serious gamers, providing extra customization and convenience. These paddles add an extra layer of control, making complex actions more accessible and giving an edge in competitive gameplay.

[Employee of bestbuy] The controller has great customization, and it feels really good in the hand, but the only thing is the battery life is not the greatest if you like to do long, gaming sessions.

They feel really good and easy to use. It has a little more weight but not enough to make you not want to use it and I like the quick swap on the joysticks. To setup is quick and simple.

The controller feels nice holding it and playing. The battery doesnt last as long as the regular controller. Im still trying to figure out how to configure it. Don't really think its worth the high price tag, but regardless its still a nice controller.

Sony really out did themselves with this one. The standard dualsense is already a really nice controller and they took that and really built on it. From the additional bumpers you can add, adjustable trigger stops, custom profiles, the case that fits it all(you can even charge it while its inside the case!), everything is top notch down to the last detail. Worth every penny especially if you put a time of time into games. My favorite feature is being able to swap to the classic dome stick hats.

I grabbed this because the controller that came with the console started having really bad stick drift after about a week of playing COD. To be fair I had it for over 1 year but went on a trip and took my console instead of the PC and clicking to sprint was what did it. To my earlier point that opened this review, a $200 controller that doesn't have the new Hall Effect joysticks is just a shame, whole point docked for that. Another point docked for having a lesser battery life from the stock controller. Doesn't make sense, should have been 50% more not reverse. Each short session essentially takes one battery bar from the controller. The charging case is not like the Elite Series 2 controller case from Microsoft which had wireless charging BUT you needed to connect the block via the cutout in the case. This one had a wider cutout which was good, but the cable goes straight into the controller charging port. This was another miss but not worth losing points over. The good is that the controller has paddles or disc like buttons for the back of the controller to map, the function keys to flip through different profiles, and feels like a premium controller which is to be expected. I did not deep dive this controller to the point of a fully flushed out review but did play a lot of NBA 2K24, a little bit of Call of Duty, along with few hours of Ghost of Tsushima through TLOU Part II. I had the disc like buttons installed and mapped to O/X to make like a bit easier in COD really. Make sure you throw on the Geek Squad protection, you can buy joystick modules for $20 but for $50 you can swap out the whole controller if you have any kind of issues. Don't love the price but if you were going to grab one of these controllers anyways hopefully this helps you out.

Expensive for a controller, but worth it for longevity and being able to customize the controller setting in lots of different ways. The included controller cord that clips to the controller was an added feature I didn't realize I would enjoy having so much.

This remote is awesome, the extra gear is definitely useful. My only gripes with this controller are the weight, this thing is heavy, the battery life is quite poor, and the fact I've had this for a couple of months and I'm already getting some stick drift.. however the included cable can offset that as it's pretty long and they charge fairly quickly (wish it was USB-C to USB-C so I could charge my phone faster) as well the thumb stick replacements you can buy... Wasn't expecting to have to buy some this soon.. the software part were you can adjust dead zones and presets for different games is also awesome

Great Product so far, so simple to use, I first bought the vetrix pro but returned it for this, and I am way happier with it, I was looking for a Fightpad for Tekken 8 and I was torn between the two, but trust me the Dpad here PLUS the other features and ease of use makes this the winner. it feels better in my hands, and it doesn’t smell like complete dog water like the vetrix

Definitely a great gift for anyone who plays games, the adjustment layout feature makes competitive gaming a whole lot more satisfying. Not to mention the slick design of the rear button option, makes gripping the remote and using the controls more natural. But the best feature is gotta be the ability to change the joysticks with ease #GOODBYESTICKDRIFT

I’m writing this on my phone, so I apologize in advance for not being able to break the sections down neatly. Primarily used as wired on PC and occasional wireless on PS5. I haven’t tried if the controller works wirelessly on PC because I’m still in the mindset that a wired connection will still have better response when directly connected, especially when playing fast paced FPS games. It’s nice to have a locking mechanism on the usb-c to controller because I’ve a few dualsense controllers loosen over time and unable to charge or hold a connection unless the cable was on just right. THE MEAT AND POTATOES — Works just like normal dualsenss controllers but has a nice heft to them (maybe a con for others). The two extra buttons on the back are helpful but only come with paddles and nubs(?) and depending on your hand size and position (like playing flipped bumpers/triggers) are kind of hard to reach or can accidentally be pressed, but can get used to after creating new some muscle memory. I like being able to change custom mappings on the fly with the built-in function buttons but those buttons should’ve been mappable too. It’s good that the thumbsticks are replaceable but options are very limited even with third party and so I still use caps from KontrolFreek or generic Amazon or BB ones on top of the normal size sticks. The biggest reason I decided to purchase this are the replaceable thumbstick modules. These thumbsticks are supposed to be less likely to cause stick drift or fading with extended use, but with constant usage (like always running forward on shooter games) and debris/peelings from the thumbcaps when used too much might still cause problems down the line. It’ll be a lot cheaper to buy replacement modules than a whole new controller — even with GSP, they may expire before anything goes wrong and thumbsticks are usually what breaks first. Overall, a good controller but not a necessary upgrade if you don’t game much. But definitely get it if you play a lot and constantly stress out your thumbsticks — basically very heavy usage, the thumbsticks start to drift, fade, or become unresponsive in just 6 months or less and have to replace the whole controller. I’ve only had this for a few weeks so hopefully what they say about the thumbsticks are true and I’ll won’t need to replace anything for a few years but if the thumbsticks go bad on me in a few months, at least all I’ll have to do is replace the modules.

I’ve enjoyed owning this product. The customization is a great touch and extends the life of the joystick. My only problem is I wish that there was longer battery life. When you pay more than double the price of a regular DualShock, you expect to be able to play twice as long between charges.
