Honestly I didn't NEED this but after playing rise of ronin I really wanted some extra triggers and buttons to more easily parry and run. Plus I've been curious as to this controller for awhile and liked the thought of the controller being somewhat better build and fixable for longevity sake. So on a whim I ran to bb and bought it. Im very impressed with it. It's slightly heavier but not in a bad way, still very comfortable and actually more secure and thicker to hold. The case it comes in is of good quality and holds the controller securely as well as the extra attachments that easily clip on and off the controller with ease. Their also made of metal or alumnium so good quality. Charge lasts around 4 to 5 hrs or more depending so not to shabby as I'm not one to game that long let alone longer. The provided charging cable is long and has a nice connector to attach to the controller securely. I don't use it often for the extra buttons but their there if I want them. Buy with confidence! I do think waiting for a sale is recommended as it is a bit pricey at full price however but if have the money its a good custom controller.

I have 2 of these controllers and I basically rarely use the other one. I love these controllers, highest durability and performance compatability. Highly recommend.

The Dualsense Edge controller is the best gaming controller I’ve ever used. The regular controllers already feel premium, but this one has an “Edge” on them (pun intended)! I love that you can make custom profiles, remapping every button on the controller. The function button makes it really easy to switch to different profiles. The paddles feel great, too! Well done Sony! The only downside is price. Not many people will want to buy a controller this expensive. It’s not for everyone, but those who are competitive gamers surely will appreciate this one

It’s a great controller a little smaller than the regular dual sense controller. Also the battery is not as big as the regular controller so be ready to charge it more often. That wasn’t a problem since they supply a long cable. I did get stick drift after less than a year of using it so make sure to get that warranty.

The controller has great customization, and it feels really good in the hand, but the only thing is the battery life is not the greatest if you like to do long, gaming sessions.

Solid controller I’ve had it for years and I’ve never had to swap a joystick module honestly not a big gamer but definitely gives you the full gaming experience with this controller

I LOVE the customizable button layout profiles you can set with the controller, I love the swappable parts you can add/remove. I’ve never had a controller that I could customize like this and it’s been great gaming with it. What I don’t love is the horrible battery life. If you plan on even one gaming session using this controller then you MUST keep it plugged in because the battery life is so, so bad. Luckily, Sony gives you a 10ft threaded cord and a locking piece for the charger port at the front of the controller in the box along with the swappable parts and they all fit in a nice travel case. In reality I’d rate this a 4.5/5 but I can’t do half star ratings so I’ll round up to 5/5 because the positives outweigh the negatives for me here.

Absolute best gaming controller I’ve ever used. I will never go back to a basic PS5 controller. This is the absolute best.

I play call of duty at a very high level and even though the controller feels heavy at first you get used to it and the weight helps you feel engaged through gunfights and racing games There is other company that do the same things but Best Buy has next day shipping which is unbeatable compared to the smaller sites that have the features the edge comes with

I purchased this controller after doing some reviews between this and a scuf controller and I am so glad I went with the Sony dualsense controllers. The feel, finish, ease of use, and edge it gives me over a standard PS5 controller is amazing. I wish I would have bought one sooner.

Love this controller! For the type of gaming that I do this works great. The battery is a little lacking but I usually don't play longer than 4 hours or so at a time and it lasts plenty long for that. The buttons underneath the controller are awesome to have and really help with my gaming.

Love this controller.. the standard PS5 controllers wear out too easily. This one feels more solid, and can be upgraded/repaired piecemeal. Love that I can replace a stick if/when it starts to drift or respond poorly. Feels great in your hands, works like a champ. Battery life has been good for me so far. Highly recommend.

love it and the fact you can switch out the joysticks is awesome especially since the replacements are super cheap after initially buying the controller of course, super nice case has a spot for an extra analog stick module as well

If you like the Dualsense, then you’ll love this controller. It has all the same features but the customization of the sticks and the added back paddles make it the best controller for your PS5.

I’ve owned this controller for about 6 months now and it’s the best controller I’ve bought. I’ve had scuf, battle beaver and the strike pack for dual sense and none come close to the quality of this controller. My scuf was unusable after 3 months due to stick drift and the battle beavers charging port became too loose to be able to charge it. This controller feels exactly the same as a normal dual sense in the hands with 2 perfectly placed paddle positions added on. I really love the custom short paddles that Sony has added as an option to use, they feel more like an extra set of triggers on the back of the remote than paddles and they are great for binding jump/slide/reload keys for FPS games. The only complaint I have for this controller is that the battery does not last as long as a normal dual sense (obviously because the battery is smaller to make room for all the cool add ons). This is pretty much a pointless complaint seeing as I keep the controller plugged in the entire time I play. The USB cord has a locking mechanism to keep it from mangling the usb port while playing with it plugged in and the cord is long enough to literally play from the other side of my bedroom. The design really is just *chefs kiss*. Top it off with a sleek carrying case and an easy to use interface on the PlayStation this controller is 100% worth the investment. Buying a 2nd one for my buddy’s birthday as we speak

I got the Sony DualSense Edge Wireless Controller and it’s super cool! It has extra buttons you can change, adjustable thumb sticks, and special grips. It even lets you save different settings for different games. It’s made gaming on my PS5 way more fun. Totally worth it!
