This is a great controller. The grip is a higher quality, the controls are responsive and they give you more overall control of your PS5 even in the middle of a game. The carrying case is perfect and provided more options than I would have thought to ask for and now can't do without. The option to swap out the joysticks is great because I've experienced stick drift on both of the original controllers that came with my PS5. The battery life isn't an issue because I always play close enough to my TV or pc monitor to plug it up when I need to. Here is the only reason why I took away a star: my hands are kind of big and when I have the back paddles installed, it is very difficult to not tap them mistakenly, which can cause issues including losing a game depending on what you're playing. I personally wish they could have placed the paddles just a bit closer together in the center just* out of my reach, so that I can grip the controller regularly and push the paddle buttons only when I want to. Other than that, this controller is GREAT. I'm looking forward to the second version of this.

Very durable Lots of adjustable options I like the classic look of white and blue but it would be nice to have other color options to match color decor of my set up would be perfect .

The only drawback I have with this controller was the price. Everything else is pretty great. If you’re in the market for high end controller this is my favorite one.

I was really hesitant to spend the money on this controller. Sony's never really released a pro/competitive controller before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I am happy to say it's exceeded my expectations, though I still feel it's a bit pricey. I like the customizable bumpers and how I can adjust the triggers. I enjoy the mapping feature and how my partner and I can have our own button layouts with an easy switch between the two. It feels great in hand and while I have no need for the case, it's well made. I wish there were a case free option at a lower price point for those of us who dont need.

I have to say the only issue or thing that has ever broke on it is the plastic analog sticks, but they can be easily swapped. Great controller use heavily for competitive gaming

Love the purchase. I haven’t took advantage of the additional buttons but definitely looking forward to it. Also love the ability to adjust the triggers. It seems a bit bulky at first but it’s a learning curve and actually feels more comfortable than the original PS5 controller. Lastly, I’ve ran through 5 ps5 controllers because of stick drift. I finally decided to grab this one because I’m heavy handed and I already knew a new controller wouldn’t last through this next few months of gaming. GTA summer update, new 2k and call of duty, and the honerable mention of all the fighting games with quater circle moves lol. It’s a great buy and I’m sure it’ll be well worth it in the long run.

Instead of buying mutiple regular controllers, give this one a shot. The absolute best controller I’ve ever owned and being able to adjust it is great

Although the battery isn't on par with an average ps5 controller, it's great for the extra button functionality. The controller really helps when playing games with weird button layouts. Only caveat is that i always have to keep charging but since I'm always by the charger it's never an issue for me.

Battery life isn't good at all. Triggers aren't mouse click.

Bought this just to see if it can help me on competitive games like overwatch, and cod, its been really good to far have noticed that i've been hitting more shots in both games since getting it. Its also built really well and its nice that you can change out the thumb sticks if you ever get stick drift or you just want a different style. I love having the buttons on the bottom of the controller to. Overall i say this a good controller if you like playing competitive games.

Really great controller. Very customizable. Love how you can adjust the sensitivity of the triggers. It’ll be cool if they ever introduce more colors. Really great quality just wish it wasn’t so expensive. 

When I upgraded my PS4 to the PS5, the plug on back button attachment for PS4 controllers from Sony was sorely missed by me. Mappable back buttons should be a standard feature in a console controller by now, but since they aren't I finally broke down and got a DualSense Edge. There are a number of other features, that I have yet to use, like different button layout profiles that can be created and changed on the fly with the buttons under the joysticks or replaceable joystick units. The down sides are obviously the price, quite steep and this has yet to go on sale. Battery life is even worse that the standard controller, so plan in leaving the charging cord in at all times. Fortunately a longer cable is included with a more durable locking device for the mini USB plug.

Feels great in hand. Very premium feel. Buttons, triggers and sticks responsive and feel great. Dualsense software has tons of features. Battery life is the only downside.

Since purchasing this controller my gaming experience has been shifted dramatically. The customaization offers me a personalized and comfortable gaming experice that ive never had before. Highly recommend

Upgraded a year ago, most reliable back buttons. No issues after one year use.
