The controllers themselves are absolutely fantastic, packed with features and tech. Adaptive triggers, real haptic feedback (its legit), a speaker and a mic, gyroscopes, touchpad, and RGB! Yes, I know the ds4's had most of these but it really is still a whole new console gaming experience with these things and it feels like they really perfected the things that the ds4's already had. They're great, seriously!

Good Buy

Feels better in hand than the white controller too, Not sure why but the back grip and the sticks are better. Not a placebo affect because i have my oem white controller next to it. the grip patter is more aggressive on the black controllers(possibly all the new colors too). I will recommend getting the warranty in case the drift starts happening again. Shame that sony has not addressed this issue.

For some reason this design seems to have a better grip than the regular white remote. Maybe because it has more of a matte color giving it more grip rather than glossy smooth. I would definitely recommend.
