Had to buy because the controller that came with my console started getting stick drift after about 15 months. Seems to be the norm with Sony I had to get a new PS4 controller every 8 months for same reason.

Optimal remote for ps5

The remote itself is comfortable to play with and sleek. It also holds up for a long time, but I love that we can purchase warranty with it for only $20!

The resistive triggers add an extra layer of immersion in the games I have tried. The haptic feedback is just a very pleasant passive detail. Battery life seems a lot better than the old DS4s.

New ones are better than the originals

I really liked the PS4 controller

This purchase was all about the aesthetic. The haptic feedback is fun, and the built in mic works surprisingly well if you don't already have a headset. My only real gripe across the board is battery life, but that's a Sony issue, not a Best Buy issue. As far as Best Buy, I ordered via the app, drove to the store after work, and was able to pick up seamlessly.

Controller reliability/longevity is mediocre

As for this controller, it’s an excellent stock design, and superior to Xbox default controllers in a lot of ways. However, this is my 4th PS5 controller in 3 years, which is to state that the reliability and longevity on these Sony controllers leaves much to be desired. 5 stars for Best Buy, 3 stars for the Sony controllers due to reliability/longevity issues.
