This controller is gorgeous in person, the Chroma Pearl finish looks even better than I expected. It feels great in my hands, super responsive, and the haptics make games feel way more real. I seriously love using it every time I pick it up. Worth every penny!

I have managed to accumulate quite the collection of DualSense Controllers since the OG PS5 debut. This particular controller functions just like the other DualSense controllers out there, however, one cannot help but just fawn over the vibrant new colors! I know it’s not quite the same, but it reminds me of when Nintendo released those translucent controllers for the N64 and some of us (not me) back then felt compelled to buy all the colors. Moving from the PS4 Pro to the PS5 Pro, one of the things that has blown my mind is the controller. The complexity of the vibration mechanism, and the way some games make use of it to communicate through your hands (I’m thinking specifically of Ghost Of Yotei, my current “time-eater”), as well as the tactile feedback in the shoulder buttons (feeling the tension of a bow as you draw an arrow?! Holy crap) make this an incredibly well-designed device, and I hope more game developers fully explore its abilities to draw the gamer in. Connecting it to my iPad for Remote Play was easy too. And provides nearly the same experience as being connected directly to my PS5 Pro. Great work, Sony!

The PS5 DualSense controller is arguably the best standard controller ever made. The buttons & stick layout work perfectly, and the controller itself has a nice weight and balance. Adaptive triggers are an amazing feature, unmatched by their competitors. When supported by a game, it's one of the coolest new features of the current gen of consoles. That said, battery life is an issue with these devices. It's a known issue and yet even new Sony DualSense controllers have the same battery as when the PS5 launched. Expect 6 to 10 hours of gameplay on a full charge. But that number will greatly diminish over time, to the point where my launch controller couldn't last a single hour. Of course, you can still play while charging, but they really ought to swap in a beefier battery. If there's any other knock against the controller, it would be the price ($75 minimum), but that's not just a Sony problem - controllers across all gaming platforms spiked in price in this console generation. If you can hold out until Black Friday or Sony Days of Play sales, like I did, the reduced price makes it worthwhile to upgrade, replace, or add to your collection. This review is for the "Chroma Teal" version, and it is gorgeous.

The controller is comfortable for long sessions, the buttons feel solid, and the battery life is dependable. On top of all that, I love this color scheme! It looks sleek, modern, and stands out without being over the top. Overall, it’s a high-quality controller that looks as good as it performs.

This controller remains one of the most immersive parts of gaming on PS5. The haptic feedback and adaptive triggers genuinely add another layer of sensation that makes games feel more alive — pulling a bowstring or braking in a car actually feels different than a simple vibration. It’s sturdy, fits well in my hands, and the built-in mic is surprisingly handy for quick chats without a headset. The battery life is decent too — better than older PlayStation controllers — though I’d still charge it once or twice a week with moderate use. The Midnight Black finish looks sleek and feels solid. No major complaints here. Pros: • Immersive haptics & adaptive triggers. • Comfortable & solid build. Cons: • Battery could be a bit longer for heavy sessions.

Always loved Playstation’s controllers. The PS5 controller is hands down the best controller on the market. This Chroma Pearl design/colourway is sleek, sick and just visually beautiful. WORTH
