This is one of the reasons why I wanted to buy it a unique color and we’re able to keep up with the different controllers we have because of this color, it is beautiful and it Functions the way it should for my kids. I purchased this as a second backup after the original white day one controller started to have drift and was out of warranty. The black controller that was purchased as the original backup had drift faster than the original. Thankfully that was still under Sony's warranty, sent back, and was fixed. I use this second back up as my main controller now and haven't had fruit since I purchased it. I read somewhere about certain model number not having drift but that turned out to be a myth. It's really luck of the draw. For the price of these controllers I wish and the recent price increase I wish I had kept the two additional controllers I had gotten by accumulating Dell reward points via Alienware Rewards. FYI, it's free to sign up and takes patience and consistency to accumulate points.

The DualSense controller is excellent! It feels very comfortable in the hands, and the adaptive triggers and haptic feedback make gaming much more immersive. The battery life is good, and it charges quickly with USB-C. The build quality is solid, and the buttons feel responsive and smooth. Perfect for both casual and competitive gaming.

Love love this color and the feel of it I haven’t used any other controller since I got it

It’s the Duelsense you know and maybe love. Personally, I like the design a lot. Have grown quite accustomed to the heftier size. For this review specifically however I must say that the purple is quite nice! It’s certainly on the darker end, but considering I moved from a Black one to the Purple, it does the job. (Would love a pastel one, though!) If buying due to a messed up controller, you can be sure that you’re getting a new one when buying the Purple. The first run of controllers had more common problems.
