I like the vibration and trigger features because they make games feel more realistic. The battery lasts a decent amount of time and it charges easily with a USB-C cable. Overall, it’s a great controller and makes playing on the PS5 even more enjoyable.

I was buying it to replace my 4 year old controller which had a button that was sticking and made it hard to play. The one I bought right out of the box was having the same problem. I returned it to Best Buy for a new one no problem. My new controller is great and works as intended!

Only bought this to replace the original controller I received with my PS5. Did not want to spend $80 for a new controller but all troubleshooting measures to fix bad drift failed. Otherwise a good product.

the controller color is nice, was a gift for my son and since he like sonic I got it and when I gave it to him he seen it as a sonic controller, works perfectly good matter in fact he likes this controller so much that stopped using his white and red controller for this one.

Bought this to use with my pc, chose this color as it looked very pretty on the box lol, very hard to see the color without it being dark in the room, otherwise it looks somewhat green. It paired very well with my pc!

Drawing back a bowstring, slamming the brakes in a car, or firing a weapon—all feel distinct and responsive. It adds a layer of immersion that makes you feel the tension, literally. Built-In Mic and Speaker for Quick Access Need to jump into a party chat or send a voice message without grabbing a headset? The DualSense has you covered with a built-in microphone and speaker. It’s a small touch that adds a lot of convenience, especially in quick, casual sessions. Comfort and Design: A Big Step Up The DualSense feels amazing in your hands—slightly larger than the DualShock 4, with a more ergonomic grip and better button feedback. The textured back adds grip without feeling rough, and the layout is familiar yet refined. It’s solid, responsive, and built for long gaming sessions. Battery Life: Decent, But Not Perfect The one area that could use improvement is battery life. With all the haptics, adaptive triggers, and built-in tech, the battery can drain faster than expected, especially during intense play sessions. But it’s a fair trade-off for all the immersive features—and it charges fairly quickly via USB-C.

The DualSense Wireless Controller in Midnight Black is fantastic in terms of comfort, haptics, and overall design. It feels premium, works seamlessly across PS5, PC, Mac, and mobile, and the adaptive triggers are great. However, the big downside is stick drift. It’s a recurring issue, and in my experience the average time before drift starts is around 8 months (based on 2 other identical controllers), which is unacceptable for a controller that costs $60–$70. For this price point, Sony really needs to address the durability of the analog sticks instead of treating drift like an inevitable problem. Battery life could also be better. The controller drains faster than expected, especially with haptics and adaptive triggers enabled, and it feels like it hasn’t improved much since launch. Overall, it’s a great controller held back by long‑term reliability. We deserve better build quality for the price.

I love these new controllers. Being an avid sony playstation fan, I have owned every console. At first I did not like the design, it seemed a bit heavier...but after a couple of months of using it...I prefer it. It feels like I have a good grip on it, and it won't slip. The handles have an even more comfortable grip than the ps4 controllers, so it is definitely worth the price. I feel these controllers will last longer than the ps4 ones due to heavier feel and more durable design.

The PS5 DualSense controller is easily one of the best gaming controllers I’ve ever used. Its standout feature is the adaptive triggers — the resistance changes based on in-game actions, making things like drawing a bow or pulling a trigger feel much more realistic. The haptic feedback is incredibly immersive, letting you actually feel the texture of different surfaces or the rumble of an explosion in a way that’s far more detailed than older controllers.

The haptic feedback is what separates the PS5 controller from the rest. I own a Series X as well as the PS5 and the PS5 controller is just better. I will say however that the PS5 controller is more expensive and also seems to suffer from stick drift faster. Microsoft also has a built-in app to fix that issue for their console and controller.
