Works Well Until the Inevitable Stick Drift

No worth it, buyers beware about stick drift

It seems the PS5 controllers usually have bit of stick drift on them from the get go and it gets worse if it is in use. For gamers out there buying a brand new PS5 or older generation console. Once you buy a controller immediately test for stick drift by going to gamepad site to test it out. I feel like PS4 controllers were more durable and would last multiple years before experiencing stick drift. I bought two from best and one out of the box is showing stick drift issue. I cannot return it since i bought it as a backup to my previous two, a year ago sadly.

Will anyone stand behind product???

The all develop stick drift and you have to go through Sony to get them fixed and pay your own shipping fees. I cannot believe there is not a better exchange / warranty for such wide known issues. My latest was purchased as an Xmas present and developed stick drift by February. Best Buy would not exchange so I have to send it to Sony. Best Buy will sell you a protection plan for an extra $20 when controller when it ultimately fails.
