No better options

I purchased this controller because I wasn't certain If I was experiencing input trigger issues with my original controller. I needed a backup just in case. Shortly after I got this, I started experiencing drifting on the left analog. Never experienced drifting with any console controller though I read about it often. If I didn't get this on sale I'd be out of luck. These controller cost way too much to be malfunctioning within a years' time. Also, this model number ends with an A like the controller that came with my console.

It would stop playing during a video game at random times. We've done everything to troubleshoot it, but our family can no longer play any game for up to 40mins without a system error code popping up. This was a new console.
