It is a Sony controller, of course. But the ability to have the alternative colors is nice. A bit expensive in my opinion, but not a terrible deal when on sale.

When the PS5 first released the controllers were good but had some little problems. These new colors, or more the point, have new a new sku. The newer controllers are basically a new updated version of the PS5 controllers that were originally released. The new sku controllers have better tech, generally speaking, and better materials. It’s still the same controller, as in it does all the same stuff…nothing new and nothing taken away, it’s just that it’s a better version of the controller. So when you’re buying one…either get one of the new colored controller or if you’re buying a white one (and black maybe?) or buying used, google this and find where it says the sku that’s the new version and make sure it’s one of them. They started making the white and the older colors the same as the new ones but there are still older skus out there.

you can't beat the real McCoy. It's expensive ... but does the trick for my samsung TV game play.

Love the design of this controller. Was hopeful to get the plates too but couldn't. Super happy to get this though. Waited for Spider Man 2 to come out before using this!
