It's a controller. It works for the PS5. You will need extras because the battery doesn't last as long as the PS4. It's heavy, but comfortable to hold.

PS5 is the best be aware the workers don't listen to customers i asked for a ps5 call of duty game and she brought me a ps4 game i didn't notice it until my son opened it up and then realized it was a ps4 game not a ps5 game however store policies they do not return opened games so be aware after buying a ps5 remote control and then the ps5 games are stored with the cashier who never listen to customers 1star for best buy store workers i can exclude the computer laptop's sector the are smart and they listen to customers every other department Doesn't Listen BE AWARE

Nice black color on my controller that matches my living room vive instead of the plain white controller.

Works great as it should service at best buy was ok I had to track down some help tho.
