The PS5 DualSense controller is arguably the best standard controller ever made. The buttons & stick layout work perfectly, and the controller itself has a nice weight and balance. Adaptive triggers are an amazing feature, unmatched by their competitors. When supported by a game, it's one of the coolest new features of the current gen of consoles. That said, battery life is an issue with these devices. It's a known issue and yet even new Sony DualSense controllers have the same battery as when the PS5 launched. Expect 6 to 10 hours of gameplay on a full charge. But that number will greatly diminish over time, to the point where my launch controller couldn't last a single hour. Of course, you can still play while charging, but they really ought to swap in a beefier battery. If there's any other knock against the controller, it would be the price ($75 minimum), but that's not just a Sony problem - controllers across all gaming platforms spiked in price in this console generation. If you can hold out until Black Friday or Sony Days of Play sales, like I did, the reduced price makes it worthwhile to upgrade, replace, or add to your collection. This review is for the "Chroma Teal" version, and it is gorgeous.

This PS5 controller is absolutely fantastic. Right out of the box, it feels premium and well-built, with a comfortable grip that makes long gaming sessions easy and enjoyable. The buttons are super responsive, the analog sticks are smooth and precise, and the triggers feel amazing—especially with adaptive trigger support in PS5 games. The haptic feedback really takes gameplay to the next level and makes everything feel more immersive, whether you’re racing, shooting, or exploring. Battery life has also been solid, lasting through multiple sessions without constantly needing to recharge. Overall, this controller performs exactly as expected (and more) and is a perfect replacement or extra controller for any PS5 owner. I’m very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality and performance.

Beautiful color which is my favorite. Works great and even got my husband sharing his playstaion 5 so i can play lol.

When my old controller began to have stick drift I felt like it was time to get a new controller so I decide to get this controller thinking it was white but it was chrome and I have to say the quality of the glitter or chrome on this was really making feel like I needed to buy a lot more games since then.

I have managed to accumulate quite the collection of DualSense Controllers since the OG PS5 debut. This particular controller functions just like the other DualSense controllers out there, however, one cannot help but just fawn over the vibrant new colors! I know it’s not quite the same, but it reminds me of when Nintendo released those translucent controllers for the N64 and some of us (not me) back then felt compelled to buy all the colors. I bought this as a birthday gift and he won't stop talking about how much he loves the design. Only plays with this controller. Definitely worth the purchase!

Definitely my favorite of the chrome series controllers. Works just like the regular controllers but with a nice shimmer, so worth it.

The electric purple color is perfect for the controller. Easy to set up and easy to use. Slightly expensive for what it is, but thats the economy right now. 10/10 would recommend.

You know you're getting a good controller when you get one of these. The color though is gorgeous. It mostly appears green but there's an iridescence to it where sometimes in just the right light there's a bluish tint.

Controller works how it should be , also the color was another reason why i got it , it has nice aesthetic to it.
