Already had an extra DualSense I received as a gift but when Sony announced new colors and one of them was black I could help but get this one. I like going back from White/Black to Black when I play.

If you’re buying this, you probably already know, but DualSense is truly a generational leap. The haptics alone are a compelling reason to get the PS5 over the XSX, which only has old-school vibration. I can feel my horse gallop in Ghost of Tsushima and I can feel “two triggers” in Returnal. The microphone on the unit is great at speech to text and saves you from having to awkwardly type on an onscreen keyboard. Other than that, the touchscreen is ok but rarely used, the controller speaker is still kind of cheesy and can be disabled. You can plug headphones right into the controller and game quietly. Kind of pricy, but not something you need to buy more than once.

PS4 controller is great for PS5 s well. Niece use it for her tablet. Good 2 years coverage from Bestbuy, worth it.

This controller feels amazing just to hold. I do not have a PS5 but I have used this for many hours on the pc. Even without the haptics the buttons and triggers feel great. Not to mention the grip and size is perfect.
