This definitely has the wow factor when you look at it. The finish is very smooth and iridescent but is more purple than blue. Depends on the lighting. It connected seamlessly and easily with my PS5 and is very responsive. I already have two controllers and didn’t need another. I thought I was a little crazy buying another. Once I took it out of the box though I knew I had to keep it.

Excellent product only problem is battery life. Be better if battery was replaceable. Sony doesn't want to make it replaceable because they want to sell more controllers to make more money but it's making trash that is endangering our planet so Sony please listen to yr customers comments if you care about the earth do yr part cuz not not like the PlayStation where you can have PlayStation 1 to PlayStation 5 you can't have her one to Earth five so please just take care of this one North we have but the product is really good great color but I decided to spend the extra money and get the edge wish in black too or more colors be nice to have more choices and please make covers for the PS5 Slim.

I've never felt the need to get the upgraded better controller (Edge) because the regular PS5 DualSense does the job and it's definitely a step up from past PlayStation controllers. The Volcanic Red was my wife's pick and it looks good. The battery life is more than sufficient also regardless what some have said. Granted, I've never played more than 8 hours straight but if I did, you can bet that I'd have restroom or food breaks where it would be on the charger extending the charge well beyond.

Great controller as always, haptic feedback and vibrations are on point. Just cant believe how much the price has went up.
