I like it simply because its black. It looks stealthy at night. Works great so far.

This review follows from my original DualSense controller (that came with the PS5 on launch day) all of a sudden losing input on the down d-pad button, essentially forcing me to buy a new DualSense, since no one seems to want to fix it (and that includes Best Buy/Geek Squad). However, coming from the original launch day white model, I feel like this Midnight Black DualSense is a much better product. I believe there may be subtle tweaks that have been made in the newer color models (i.e., better trigger haptics, buttons being a bit clickier, etc.) that make it superior to the original, but I will also say that the color is great, and I prefer it to the white. While the black might not match how the original console looks (without black faceplates), it is a better color because it does not collect dirt/sweat/random hand secretions in the back textured crevices (at least that is visible). My big complaint with the original white was that no matter how clean your hands were, the back of the controller eventually got dirty. The black color seems to avoid this issue for the most part, and that alone makes it worth getting over the standard white. All in all, it's not a PlayStation without a nice black controller, and this one does the job very well. Hopefully the buttons will last on this one for longer than a year and a half.

My son wanted a 4th controller for when his friends would come over. The outside of the box looked more blue color, but when he opened the controller, it was medium-dark purple. He loved it! It's the exact color as his favorite team. Bonus, it was on sale! Works great. very happy with the purchase.

Last month I tried the controller it was working really well no problems and no damages, I would highly recommend to buy this if anyone has a broken or an issue controller they have.

The DualSense may be one of the wildest controllers I've ever used, and I love it, but I wasn't a fan of the default white and black one you get with the system. The Midnight Black colorway looks great and the controller feels excellent in my large hands, an issue I had with most of ths previous PlayStation controllers which all felt a bit too small and dinky.

Purchased this for my uncle, he said he had stick drift. I went out of my way to get him this controller which is similar to his favorite color! Thanks again, Best Buy! Love being a total member!

You get what you pay for. It works well and keeps a charge.

The best standard controller out, hands down no questions. The adaptive triggers alone are worth the price. Stick drift still exists though

Great PS 5 controller. No wires or cords has vibration mode and alerts.... Excellent!

Buttons may stick after a good chunk of time using the controller, as well as stick drift occurring after use for so long. Still gets you through a couple months, price can be a bit iffy, feels more like you buying for the brand and color scheme or design mostly. Still worth while if you’re a die hard PS fan with exclusives and single player games.

This controller was as nice as any to purchase. If your set up is green, this controller would match perfectly.
