Tried taking it apart to clean and found the mechanism that broke. Tried replacing it ourselves and it was ok but not great. Just gave in and bought a new one. It sucks to spend this kind of money when the actual console costs so much as is, but it is obsolete without a functioning controller

Drift Issues - Get the extended warranty

Your character will not go in the proper direction. Pretty frustrating especially when the price tag is $80. Buy them but get the warranty.
