The design is good but I really don't know how well it works since I have not used it.

I had to get this one because the one that came with my PS5 got stick drift and i wasn't able to fix. Fingers crossed that doesn't happen to this one too. It was worth it to get the Best Buy coverage plan. Anything happens in 2 yrs they replace it. Can't say the same for Playstations plans to fix controllers that fail within 4 months.
