I bought this controller to replace another that was about a year old and had terrible drift occurring to the point that games were unplayable. The controller out of the box was great, the first several games were great, but I can already tell that the left trigger button is loose and activating during gameplay when not actually engaged. The problem is in the manufacturing of the controllers themselves and is what it is from Sony and Playstation, you may want to consider a good third party controller if you're willing to spend the money. If you need a new controller and are comfortable with these like I am, just understand they don't last as long as they should for the money.

Purple is king

I have the white one the console comes with but the purple is the way to go. I also got this during PlayStation’s State of Play so it was a bit cheaper than normal

Easy to keep clean and doesnt smudge or get dirty anyway. As with other dualshock the adaptive triggers is super immersive for sony games
