This PS5 controller is hands down the best controller I’ve ever used. The build quality feels solid and comfortable, even during long gaming sessions. Button response is smooth and precise, the grip feels great, and the battery life holds up well. Whether I’m playing action games, sports, or shooters, everything feels more responsive and engaging. Moving from the PS4 Pro to the PS5 Pro, one of the things that has blown my mind is the controller. The complexity of the vibration mechanism, and the way some games make use of it to communicate through your hands (I’m thinking specifically of Ghost Of Yotei, my current “time-eater”), as well as the tactile feedback in the shoulder buttons (feeling the tension of a bow as you draw an arrow?! Holy crap) make this an incredibly well-designed device, and I hope more game developers fully explore its abilities to draw the gamer in. Connecting it to my iPad for Remote Play was easy too. And provides nearly the same experience as being connected directly to my PS5 Pro. Great work, Sony!
