My son got it for Christmas, and he had just played for a few days. Sony has to fix this problem because the one that came with the system had a similar problem too. It is not Best Buy, it is Sony's problem.

This was the grimiest controller I had ever seen and had finger gunk still in the joystick. The buttons felt mushy and you can tell that button was used for a while. I repackaged it, washed my hands and returned as soon as it got delivered. Extremely disappointed with Best Buy's quality control.

The quality of these controllers are trash so make sure you get the protection plan. Have gone through 4 or 5 since the ps5 came out.

I had to take one back cause it had a grinding problem, then the thumbtacks drifted after only a few months of use. I bought another one a year later and it was much better than this for some reason
