Best to always pay for the protection plan on controllers, you will be glad you did!!

I nabbed a PS5 for my little brother for Xmas and it only comes with one controller. This little add on was perfect! stupid expensive, but yall gamers dont care. Its beautiful, lights up, and it does the shakey shake when you do exciting things with your computer game! FR tho its a quality item.

That said, ive gone through 6 of these in the past 3 years. I'm not hard on my controllers. I'm a dad who gets to play maybe 6 hours a week. I don't have sweaty hands, I don't have them next to a furnace or any other dusty environment. I just don't get it. Every 3-6 months they begin drifting. I correct them in game with dead zone adjustments. But it gets to the point where it's unplayable. I was just getting the geek squad protection on them so I didn't have to send it into Sony every time and could swap them out on the fly. But after the 5-6 time I got tired of it. I replaced it with the pulse for the sole fact that it has replaceable stick potentiometers. Fingers crossed its more convenient. My N64 controllers still work from 1996 without drift... Why can't we figure this out SONY?! Lol.. (I know that's an apples to oranges comparison tech wise but c'mon!)

My son chose this controller for the camo design and loves it. I can’t really describe it but it has a nice and smooth finish/ feel to it. We all love it. Works just like any other controller.
