The DualSense Wireless Controller in Midnight Black is fantastic in terms of comfort, haptics, and overall design. It feels premium, works seamlessly across PS5, PC, Mac, and mobile, and the adaptive triggers are great. However, the big downside is stick drift. It’s a recurring issue, and in my experience the average time before drift starts is around 8 months (based on 2 other identical controllers), which is unacceptable for a controller that costs $60–$70. For this price point, Sony really needs to address the durability of the analog sticks instead of treating drift like an inevitable problem. Battery life could also be better. The controller drains faster than expected, especially with haptics and adaptive triggers enabled, and it feels like it hasn’t improved much since launch. Overall, it’s a great controller held back by long‑term reliability. We deserve better build quality for the price.

Matches my aesthetic of red and black accessories! Plays and controls like butter. Easy to charge and updates when plugged into PS5. I have this one and the standard white one.

Works perfectly! Loved being able to use a black controller and works amazing- it looks and feels so slick and just looks amazing! definitely recommend a black controller as someone who really loves the color black! fits perfect with the cover I got especially for it!

Had to get this bad boy while it was on sale!! Love the color and I've read that Sony has tweaked this newer controllers to combat the stick drift that has been an issue with the ones that released with the system in 2020!! I never had an issue with my launch controller but a good peace of mind for this one!!

Got this for my sons 8th birthday he has been asking for a new controller he picked this comor purple its very vibrant and works smoothly very happy with the purchase will i also bought 2 others .

Just what my grandson wanted and in his favorite color! Works great! Purchasing two more for his sleepover.

Works as expected in red. My son uses it with smaller hands and has no issues.

Controller works as expected. All the controls and buttons work fine with good game response. The price is little high but the sale price made it a little better to justify.

I'm sure some 3rd party controllers are great. We had a bad experience with a generic one and then went ahead and got the original Sony and have never looked back.
