The controller is slightly larger than the DualShock 4, which makes it more comfortable to hold for long periods of time. The grips are textured, which helps to prevent the controller from slipping out of your hands. The buttons are also more responsive, and the D-pad is much improved. The haptic feedback is one of the best features of the controller. It provides a much more immersive gaming experience, especially in games that support it. For example, in Astro's Playroom, you can feel the different textures of the surfaces you're walking on, and you can even feel the raindrops hitting your controller. The adaptive triggers are another great feature. They provide resistance that varies depending on the action you're performing in-game. For example, when you're drawing a bow and arrow, the trigger will feel heavier as you draw the arrow back. This adds a new level of immersion to the gaming experience.
