I absolutely love the duel sense PlayStation controller. It’s fun to play games with when those games take advantage of all the features it can do. I love that they continue to add new colors. The sticks are smooth. The buttons are great. The usb c port on the controller was tight right out of the box, which is nice because when you plug in the charger it makes a satisfying click sound. My controller had a loose fitted 3.5mm sound jack, no click sound, but it works great still. It was not such a problem that I felt I needed to return it. All the buttons and joysticks work great.

My son loves the color for the controller. He believes that’s the reason he can beat me in Madden. That makes me want to return it but other than that it’s great!

If you’re buying this, you probably already know, but DualSense is truly a generational leap. The haptics alone are a compelling reason to get the PS5 over the XSX, which only has old-school vibration. I can feel my horse gallop in Ghost of Tsushima and I can feel “two triggers” in Returnal. The microphone on the unit is great at speech to text and saves you from having to awkwardly type on an onscreen keyboard. Other than that, the touchscreen is ok but rarely used, the controller speaker is still kind of cheesy and can be disabled. You can plug headphones right into the controller and game quietly. Kind of pricy, but not something you need to buy more than once.

Bought a new one for the kids. Works great. We included the replacement plan just in case.

I use this controller for playing Sony Games on my PC and in the process I am able to enjoy numerous exclusive functionalities such as adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. Overall, a worthwhile controller.
