The controllers themselves are absolutely fantastic, packed with features and tech. Adaptive triggers, real haptic feedback (its legit), a speaker and a mic, gyroscopes, touchpad, and RGB! Yes, I know the ds4's had most of these but it really is still a whole new console gaming experience with these things and it feels like they really perfected the things that the ds4's already had. They're great, seriously!

Great controller, beautiful color

It mostly appears green but there's an iridescence to it where sometimes in just the right light there's a bluish tint.

Solid controller

Ive always preferred the Playstation layout over the xbox. The weight, the buttons, the haptic feedback...all wonderful. This particular controller seems to have improved battery life too! Ive played at least 4 hours no charge without losing a notch on the indicator.

The adaptive triggers are nothing short of revolutionary, adding depth and realism to gameplay, especially in titles that utilize them well. The haptic feedback system is equally impressive, delivering a tactile experience that enhances immersion. The built-in microphone is convenient for quick chats, though a dedicated headset is still better for serious multiplayer sessions. Battery life is decent but could be better, especially with the heavy use of advanced features. Overall, the DualSense is one of the most innovative controllers I’ve used and a true highlight of the PS5 experience.
