I'm new to PlayStation, I've only dealt with Microsoft/XBOX products in the past. But I must admit I am thoroughly pleased with the switch. And I was happy to see that PlayStation had my favorite color available for the controller!!

Bought this for my son who plays his PS5 a few hours everyday. All I can say is it works great for about 6 months then my son says it starts “Drifting” and then I have to go buy a new one. Lately I’ve been buying the extended warranty from Best Buy for $20 and using that so go ahead and buy the 2 year warranty that Best Buy sells

Bought this while it was on sale for $25 off. It was so worth it! I love the color and the buttons on this controller are quieter than my other controller (not advertised that way so probably slightly different manufacturing of some kind).

The controllers are pretty good, just hate how expensive they are. So having to buy another one, with you will have to do, is pricey.

The PS5 controllers are solid and responsive, and imo represent the ideal controller setup in terms of ergonomics, comfort, and button placement.

As this was an open box purchase, I wasn't expecting perfection. However, the controller was in mint condition and was essentially brand new. It connected right to the console without even having to plug it in first. And it even came with the latest firmware update right out of the open box. Always consider open box or refurb purchases when looking for peripherals!

Needed 2nd controller. Same as the one that comes with PS5 just black.

This controller is the first Playstation 5 controller that stands out. Its everything that we still expect from a quality Playstation controller. Feels good in the hands and functions perfectly. If you are looking to add some style to your setup this is it.

Got it for my son and hes a toddler so its very durable and reliable we've had it for a year and it works perfectly fine

It's a great control pad for gaming. It's better than the previous generation, the DS4, in that it fits the palm of your hands better. This purchase in particular featured the Midnight Black controller and it looks really good. It's color scheme and overall design is probably Sony's finest when it comes to their entire history of controller accessories. However, as per the name of this 2 star rating, it really needs a longer battery life. A full, 100% charge on standard vibration settings only gives you about 3 or less hours of game time. It is reasonable to claim that 3 hours of gaming is more than enough for a dedicated playthrough but this is not including the fact that battery life will be shortened given enough time. This is not acceptable. IMO, the battery should have been at 70%-100% more of its given capacity. This is to ensure a fully uninterrupted gameplay session without the need to recharge the controller once per day or more.

Such an amazing controller. What PlayStation is done with the haptics is incredible It handles like a cross breed of Xbox and Sony. Everything in the box came as it should, and was in good condition. The only complaint I have is that it did not come with a charging cord, so I still have to use the one cord between the two controllers. As It’s an official Sony controller, that fault lies with them and not Best Buy.
