Fun new color! The protection plan is great for my little kid

Works just as you’d expect. Has had some heavy use and drops by my son but it’s holding up well with good battery life. We play without vibration.

To be honest, this is one of the biggest improvements in the PS5. DualShock 4 was great, but this is totally different. The trigger feedback is amazing, and the haptics are much more refined and just.. totally different than the "stereo rumble" of the DS4. This is an entirely different level of controller than what you'd get even with the Series X. And they're not that expensive to have a couple in rotation. I would recommend picking up an extra at the same time as the PS5, though, as I will say the battery life is noticeably shorter than the DualShock 4. There are some rumors of the triggers going off-track if someone is too rough on them. That doesn't mean you have to baby this thing, but some people are absolutely brutal on controllers, and Sony should have considered that. If you're normal and not hamfisted about it you'll be fine, but if you're the type of person who throws controllers in frustration (cmon, don't do that.) then you may notice this is a little more fragile than its predecessor.

Honestly, its one of the best controllers ive ever held. All the features on the controller, including the haptic tiggers/mic is all great. Only bad thing about this controller is the battery life is pretty bad. It still gets a 5 star from me tho simply because the charging speed the ps5 provides for the controller is great.

Very durable and long lasting I head my son screaming and throwing the control at the video game between our thick walls and still he hasn’t asked for a new controller so I will recommend this product 100 percent

More ease and movement capability, big upgrade from previous controllers.

I love how beefy this controller is compared to the PS4 controller. It really made the PS4 controller feel cheap. This controller has got some heft to it and it feels premium. I love the haptic feedback and the adaptive triggers. Too bad, not many games outside Astro's Playroom took advantage of the adaptive triggers. But it's too early to say. Hopefully in the next games.

I’ve wanted the black controller for a while now. Finally got one and maybe it won’t show all the grease and grime like the white controllers do.

Works well. Texture on the controller feels different than other controllers, but doesn’t make a difference when playing.

What i like about the playstation five controller is how comfortable it is

The controller is pretty cool with the metallic shades of purple and blue “chroma indigo”. I would say tho that the pictures online make it seem more blue, but in person it has mostly shades of purple. Still really cool and my boyfriend still loves it.

Love the new design and the hepatic feedback it’s the new Gen controller.
