Significant upgrade over the DualShock....over any and all other controllers for that matter. Nothing world changing, after all it is just a controller so there’s only so much it can add to the experience but to that extent, this controller has pushed the limits of what one can add. The triggers have tension adjusters that change in conjunction with the actions you are preforming in the game. It feels like it’s built more sturdy then other models, it doesn’t feel like a hollow piece of cheap plastic. It’s solid, better grip, awesome new features, very slight change in shape and size that feels better in hand.

The Ghost of Yotei controller has a truly unique and premium design — unlike anything else I’ve seen. Even Sony didn’t go this far with the God of War edition, which is why I decided to pick this one up. The casing feels more high-end than a standard PS5 controller, with a sleek finish and a striking slashed samurai sword accent that really stands out. It looks and feels collectible, and in my opinion it’s absolutely worth owning.
