It’s bigger, so it will also be a nice change for people with bigger hands. The textured back of the controller has nice implemented details for Sony fans. If you look close enough, it is composed of the face buttons. The shoulder buttons also protrude more than the DualShock 4. The triggers at stock have a very nice smooth pull with some resistance. It will be nice to see how some games utilize the adaptive triggers. The PS button is now the logo from PlayStation 1 instead of a circle which also works as a nice translation to P5 if you really want to get poetically crazy. The touchpad has a little more resistance because the way the surface is treated. Instead of a silky smooth matte surface like the DS4, this one seems like it’s just a matte surface without the silk. The face buttons all have a super nice soft, but tactile press.

The delivery time was about what I expected around the Holidays, my only real complaint was that the controller may have been open-box, due to the packaging of the controller looking like it had been opened previously. No real complaints and the controller works as it should after about 50 hours of game play. so I am satisfied.

I got it on sale for Black Friday so I’m very pleased with the purchase.

More clicky than normal

If you look up the model of any of the dual sense controllers, you can find out which revision you have (color is not always an indication). The one I purchased happens to be the newest version as of this writing. The issue I'm having is that about 40 percent of the time when I press the d-pad right button, it actually presses the up button. I wouldn't have an issue if it didn't happen so often. It has caused me to mess up quite a bit in various different games. This version does seem to have a more clicky feel to all of the face buttons compared to my previous controllers. I was hoping it just needed to be broken-in but it is still happening 2 weeks after purchasing it. I will probably exchange it soon
