I eventually found it had already been used. The sony packaging had been opened and there were several marks on the controller itself. I was displeased but I waited too long to open it for a return.

Sticks have more dirt collected than my 3 year old used in controller's sticks. The touch pad has worn in stains from consistent usage and the back of the controller has light scratches from the original user trying to plug in the USB C cable and missing the port. Disappointed by the quality rating of this product and would probably rate it as "Good" condition at best.

Smooth joy sticks and awesome new trigger resistance makes you feel like your actually pulling a trigger on a gun.
